Still having lots of fun!
Some more comments/requests:
1. How about a stay on top option for Configure Window for external Drum module? When you press play the configure window closes, for example, the DR-008 window closes. This is frsutrating if you are tweaking your kit.
2. When loading DR-008, CPU when not playing is 60%. When playing, drops to 30% - which is still high - 10% higher than when using internal samples. Can this be improved?
3. The buttons are very confusing (the current white/grey color scheme is very hard to tell what is selected - maybe red light to indicate button is selected?)
3. Idea: ability to select individual blocs in arrangement window, right click and see fly-out menu for all of the star, fill and end options That is, you can jump to individual block at any time. Also, ability to select individual block and remove start, fill or end.

This is odd. We don't see that with BFD, DFHS, Battery, Kontakt, Stormdrum etc. We'll get a copy of DR-008 and check this outWhen loading DR-008, CPU when not playing is 60%. When playing, drops to 30% - which is still high - 10% higher than when using internal samples.
We'll improve that.the current white/grey color scheme is very hard to tell what is selected
We are compiling a set of arranger improvements from various feedback, yours included. The time pressure won't allow us to implement this before the 1.0 release but there will be free maintenance releases with these improvementsability to select individual blocs in arrangement window,..
Thanks for your feedback and keep it coming!

Let me second the request for a stop button. I like to use Chainer for jams and scratchpad writing before I take it to the tracker. Once opened in Chainer, it keeps going and going and going and . . . .
Great work! This has the potential to be loads of fun.

No it did not...Zauni wrote:We have just released an update to the demo version that removes all audio reminders. Instead there is one beat of silence roughly every 40 to 47 beats on all outputs plus a VERY quiet "Jamstix" spoken at that time on output 1 only. That's so no one thinks Jamstix has audio drop-out problems.
This should alleviate much of the frustration.
Because you did NOT update the small 7mb version.
This bitch is still talking to me and it is impossible to concentrate to figure out how Jamstix works....

I'm really sorry because this is going to sound rude, but is that really a human female speaking or is it computer generated? It sounds really slurry and monotone, like she's had one too many glasses of wine or something.

from the features page:
"MIDI output to host sequencer as well as export to MIDI file for maximum flexibility"
Is the midi output gonna work in all hosts ?
The demo is a lot of fun.
