New version is up. Now the speed control actually works, and we finally have some slightly less cher-like pitch correction!
I've also added midi control. To use, set the mode from "detect" to "midi" in the plugin, and then send some midi data to the plugin (typically by making a new midi track and setting the output the InTune). Funky fun to be had here.
Get it here.
Forever,
Kim.

Now this is what I call speedy development!
If I get it to work (I haven't had time to try it out yet) I'd gladly chip in some dough for you if that supports future development. How about a decent audio-to-MIDI plug (I'm a hell of a whistler but suck at playing the keyboards!)?
BTW, shareware might be just the ticket for you. I know some people who always pay shareware fees for the stuff they actually use (I'm one of them).
Keep up the good work and the freeware/shareware spirit,
/SparkySpark

Legally, I can't use fiddle~ (the pitch detection module I'm using) in a commercial project (unless I talk to the maker). At the moment, I'm happy to keep this non-commercial.SparkySpark wrote:Now this is what I call speedy development! If I get it to work (I haven't had time to try it out yet) I'd gladly chip in some dough for you if that supports future development.

I'm not into money. This is just a side project that I'm doing for fun, and I just hope it will be useful for some people. I'll only ask for money if there's enough people buying to actually do it full time. Seeing as that's very unlikely to happen, I'll just keep this as something to do in my spare time.
It'd be really easy to do a monophonic one. In fact, I could add a MIDI output to InTune, so it'd quantise your pitch AND spit out the MIDI.SparkySpark wrote:How about a decent audio-to-MIDI plug (I'm a hell of a whistler but suck at playing the keyboards!)?

a) When I finally get the full version of Max/MSP 4.5
b) When development of this plugin stabilises a bit (gets close to 1.0)
On a technical note, I'm also using fiddle~ and gizmo~, but I'll soon be replacing gizmo~ with my own transpose function (I call it wavecycle resynthsis). Gizmo~'s cool, but I need something that's less CPU intensive and with negligible latency (gizmo~ inside a pfft~ is giving me some noticeable latency).

Kim.

I take my hat off for this plugin. There aren´t many autotune plugs outthere!
But I was wondering: Is it possible to make it sound like the Eifel 65 (or was it 52?) guys?
Please, no attempts from anyone wanting to turn this thread into a "why do you wanna use an effect that´s already been overused"-thread. If somebody needs that, please just start another one with that topic

Looking forward to the Mac version Jeez .....
Also, wondering if Pluggo user-built files are cross-platform???
For example, can you load any of these using PC-pluggo runtime? :

Not right away. You'd need to get the source Max/MSP patches and resources and recompile on a Windows machine. If they use any non-Cycling74 externals (extra modules written by other people), you'd need to get the Windows versions of those too (if they exist).Pantsdown666 wrote:Also, wondering if Pluggo user-built files are cross-platform???

You should check out some of jk's stuff - Limofive, for example, is a fantastic limiter-distortion plug with five variable bands ...
