Drums ducking bass, voice over etc.

Does this mean that the sidechain is a REAL sidechain (2 stereo inputs into the plugin and one stereo output?)

Care to tell us why this is a good thing?

thanx
Many strong techniques are based on processing with more EQ's and Compressors. I know a few tricks but I would rather have one of the real experts to go into the details. Pro techs use these techniques every day and when one hear the outcome you know why your own tracks never sounded pro before. There will be presets to show the great opportunities in dual processing and make it as easy to use as ordinary single EQ / comp processing.

I see you have had several requests for "Classics" in this thread. Here is mine: How about a Classic Tuborg? Then we don't have to go all the way to Austin to get it.

BTW I think your gold interface is the best looking of all plug-ins.

It is still under consideration.

MMmmmm 8) That feature alone makes it sure that I'll buy this baby.

So when do you want my money? :D (same in english: when is the plugin available?)

EDIT: Oooh! :D Just noticed that there was "invert" envelope mode, yummy! :) (I've been waiting for a plugin which can do that for a long time)

It's in betatest right now and manual and presets in the works but I hope to release it in a week or so.

No, it's just a phase shift button.

:-o How about implementing inverted envelope now when it's still possible? I'd like to use it in the same way as vocoders are sometimes used to make a synth-pad pump in time with a drum-beat. I mean that the sidechain's volume controls the pad's volume and gives VERY nice rhythmic effects (loud sidechain signal => loud main signal) :) So it would be the opposite of the typical trance/house kick & bass ducking effect.

It does not sound like a thing you will get just by inverting the envelope. What you want is rather an envelope follower controlling a gain.

Hi Torben, quick question, how would one set up the sidechaining in Sonar? I'm used to the stock "fake sidechaining" of a left channel track sidechaining the track on the right, but I'm not sure as to how I'd route two stereo tracks into the same plug-in without both being compressed.

Or do I just have to wait for the manual  ?
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.
