Here's a quick before/after sample on voice. Only processes stereo as mono files, but I can live with that, has several other cool utlilities and filters.

So why've you been still looking all this time? Excellent results with this thing (suppose no real-time, no VST integration, c'est la vie).

Here is a mixture of the formant shifting and (later in that sample) pitch shifting with varaying format adjustment:

We always get together and we do something obscene.

Please note, that there are some little artefarkts due to the fact, that we didn't implement parameter smoothing yet. We used the prototype of the realtime algorithm which has lower quality than the offline processor.

Now looking to that other stuff...

one of the funnest things Praat does is model a human head, and lungs, with all the muscles. The included instructions give an insight, and result in a kind of mid-gendered 'urrgh!' - it's brilliant.
takes a while to learn tho
