I don't think I've ever spent this long on a contest track; let alone any track really. Lots of miniature programming and mixing going on.

Main culprits: filterscapeVA, Anamark, Podolski, Rez and drumatic for drums and homebrewn percussive samples. For dancability I think polka-dots comes closest Oh yes and a Fizmo found it's way into the mix too split up through the springreverb and the other through tapedelay and the metasonix. All recorded with a feedback through the mic ran through the Fizmo.

i'm such a whore for doing this, and i'll probably be disqualified. i apologize if i piss anybody off. but it's all in good fun. it just took me a while to realize. i made a gypsy dance tune for the comp... decided it wasn't perfect and said screw it. then put it in music cafe. then realized it doesn't have to be perfect. i just want people to enjoy it and ignore the imperfections. all done in fl studio. used reaktor (steampipe), ambience, bunch of free brass soundfonts, some home made percussion loops and one percussion loop from samplefusion. every not was pressed (no midi!!!) i'm not proud of the fact that i used that percussion loop. but it was perfect for this and i was too lazy to make it on my own. anyway i dedicate it to mr voidoid surrealist as i know he loves gypsies just as much as i do. i call this tune "eye nipple voidoid", but you can call it "gypsy jam session". enjoy
