if so it's a desaster!Rangtangtang wrote:.
That doesn't sound right to me, if so that wouldn't be very fair.
Muzys users look! The future is bright.

Jens,
As you know, i can't go into detail. Let me just add that no one treated me wrong in this matter!
But let's not focus on the past, let's focus on the future.
I'll do the best i can to realize new dreams.
Cheers,
Jo

I´ll be on the watch for what you come up with as Muzys was my introduction to DAW recording.
Best of luck

Good to see you back, Jo.
The big question left, then, is what market is left out there to exploit?
Personally, I'm fond of instrument-hosts. Stuff that isn't aimed at generalized, annotated projects like sequencers, but rather aimed at being part of the project like an instrument. Hard to explain, but it would be the difference between Sonar and Audiomulch.
So for instance, something that combined the host features of Muzys into Muzynth.

I think i know what you mean. This is also one of my creative dreams
One of the questions i have to solve is: how much time will it take to get there. And that figure will be an important parameter in decission takings.

I think there's still plenty of room for new instruments that emphasize ergonomics and usability. We still seem to be mostly stuck in old hardware paradigms and the few instruments that aren't are still too awkward and complex and indirect. I'd pay for another synth with capabilities somewhere in between something like impOSCar or Albino but with a much improved interface.

I´ve always thought that an idea like this : http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1137.html was worth exploring.
But with better ergonomics and execution

I am absolutely stoked that you are back on board Jo.
I think you've seen my posts in this thread about what I really liked about your past product and what kinds of things I think are really lacking in the host area.
I really think for a starter that rebirthing something that had all the essence of MuZynth would be a great idea. a modular instrument framework that is also a fully featured sampler with the ability to give it a dumbed-down interface via macro knobs.
But honestly I'm still looking for the host with the most without resorting to something like Cubase and I know you've done it before. I'm just wondering if you have the energy to do it all again.
I'm looking for the sequencing host that feels like I'm playing an instrument and yet gives me the power of editing you find in the finer sequencing tools.
Muzys was so close - I'm looking for the ANSWER.
I'm so glad you're back and burning to go forward. This could be a great time!
