This is pretty nice.
So TyN6 for the bass, what did you use for the other instruments?

+ a pretty cool bread and butter classic synth patch collection!
Very nice, thanks a lot!
Hope that Urs will hand pick some of the best presets we've been sending for Tyrell N6's official release. :) that would be cool!
Thanks, 3ee. Yup, bread n butter is my thing ;) At least when I'm new with a synth.
I want to keep it melodically playable, and I can't play with sounds that are too out there. Might be my own shortcoming.

I gotta say, Tyrell sounds very very good.

These were, as of half an hour ago, all public user patches I could find, from here and from the amazona.de Tyrell forum. I took the liberty of correcting volume issues with some patches (not all though).

All in all, 124 patches by 9 contributors:

3ee, Bronto Scorpio, DocM, Ether, Kejkz, Reusenoise, Spinatze, The Unshushable Coktor, and Wusician.

http://www.box.net/shared/dntriu5oht

Is everyone okay with this, or does someone mind being included here without being asked?

P.S.: Sorry, just saw that bpblog already has a collection of links to the different patch banks on his blog. Didn't mean mess with his business.

For this small snippet only Virus XL for the gated pad, Sylenth for the pluck-sound, mictrotonic+additional samples for the drums.

The bass patch I programmed for this: 4d SolidBass.h2p

I just downloaded this, and it's got some great and innovative ideas - I particularly like the glide offset, such a simple concept but I've never seen it used before.

One minor GUI bug, for me at least - the Pulsewidth Modulation slider in the "Osc Mod" section (top left) seems to move at twice the speed of all the others, it's very sensitive (tested on Windows version running under Live 8).

Anyone else getting the same thing?
Pithy apothegm goeth here...

Yes. Little cosmetic issue. Hope to fix it before vacation.

Urs, any update on when we may see the next Alpha (or perhaps even a beta)?

Post

Urs is an absolute genius. I don't care how much praise Zebra & Ace have gotten - to me they still seem underrated. They are AWESOME software synths, and leave most of the competition in the dust as far as I'm concerned. So I'm super excited every time I hear that guy is working on something.

I'm trying Friday. Wife and I leave for a six week vacation (more or less) on Saturday, and I don't want to mess too much with deep code on my laptop... I'd rather have a couple of updates available by then.

@Synth Buddha: Thanks :oops:
