Yep, as already pointed out the "Beats" button snaps the temp of the lfo to the beats per minute of the host. I was going to use the word "Sync" but I think beats is more descriptive of what is going on, since that is what the units are of the action, either Hz or Beats. The Hz and Beats range is from 0 to 32 and inf to 1/32 respectively depending on if the beats button is down, and you can then use the "Mult" button to multiply this base rate anywhere from 1 to 32k times faster, with a fine scale at the start so you can easily dial in fraction values from 1 to 2 for not perfectly synced times that still track with the tempo of the song.
