This is what i did. Anyways... just wanted to be sure, that nobody feels offenced in any way.bjporter wrote:If you want to put some 'negative' critique in a comment, I would recommend do it like they do in Toastmasters International speaking club: Say something nice / positive to start, and end it with a constructive feedback on what to improve, or what you didn't like.

I always value feedback/comments on a track.ImNotDedYet wrote: I've done the same as well, and hope as well that no offense is taken

I always try to do that, even when not leaving comments on soundcloud.bjporter wrote:If you want to put some 'negative' critique in a comment, I would recommend do it like they do in Toastmasters International speaking club: Say something nice / positive to start, and end it with a constructive feedback on what to improve, or what you didn't like.

With all due respect to the people who take their time to give (negative) critique on someone's creative work, I never do it unless being asked. Every critique opinion (including this one
) is biased and selfish...
But as far as it helps someone - I don't mind

just dropping by to say that all sorts of feedback are always welcome and i won't feel offended by constructive comments at all, so don't worry about that
and about my votes: i used the full scale to rate the tracks, so yeah i gave a few 1s here and there. i hope nobody feels offended though! that's definitely not my intention, all tracks had something unique to them (and that's what makes OSC so special)

If anyone here gets a 1 or 2 and wondering why, the first thing to do is not be upset, but ask kindly for feedback of course
Usually people are nice and will tell you what they think.

Good luck to all. Lot's of quality work guys/gals. It's hard to score so many, but I tried to think of the music, sound design, and mixing as a package.

Maybe the points should go from 5 to 10 then nobody needs to feel offended and we dont need to keep apologising

Have to say, that I didn't want to start a big discussion about commenting etc. It was just a little sidenote...
so, everyone seems to be happy about constructive critics. That's cool!
Let's stop it and go ahaed with commenting and voting!
Have fun guys/girls!

I often wonder if there are any girls in the OSC. Due to the nicknames it is not so clear. But whenever I see clear names or images, it seems that the OSC is a boys club.

Sad but true... I guess this reflects my inner hopes... "some day... girls might join the osc"photonic wrote:Girls ?Bjulin wrote:...Have fun guys/girls!
