One Synth Challenge #73 special: Synthmaster (Jasinski wins!)

Made some more adjustments to my track:

- Edited kick for more punch
- Mixing levels adjustments
- Added some auto panning to pads and arpeggio
- Volume fade-out at the end

O.k., I dont make some adjustments I just changed nearly evrything after results form last contest.....too be honest (I know, evrybody kind and peaceful in here but sometimes.....) I was so p..... off (mostly from my own incompetence and as mojo42 just sooooo rightly said: you are LAZY....how true....sigh....), just had to change evrything.

Maybe I have foozled it up now totally but that dont matter just have to do that.....

seems I have messed up something bjporter, cant find a way too just update my song, so I deleted and loaded it up again, hope thats no problem, sorry....

So here is the song information from first version:

DAW: Mulab
Thirteen instances of Synthmasterplayer
Effects: Glace Verb on the Flute
Effects/Mastering: MhorseP3 V2/Nova 67 P/Limiter No6

In this version I added some effects on the channels (MhorseP3, Masquerade) for more clearer sound and used a mux for the drums where I put together some of the user created percussion sounds for kind of a "drumset".

No more flute (changed the melody to a guitar, hopefully clearer sound), so no more glaceverb.

Song: The endless cycle of renewal, and liberation from the past. Inspired by the 20th century philosopher J. Krishnamurti. Recording: 29 instances (full version) played with keyboard and midi guitar. Patches a mix of my own as well as some tweaked factory presets. Lots of layering. Learned many cool techniques from studying some of the shared user patches - thanks to those who put forth the effort to gather them together!
Mixing: Cubase stock control strip, eq, compressor, reverb, envelope shaper. Klingler Binaural Spatializer. HOFA 4U Meter Fader & MS Panner.
Mastering: Brainworx Cleansweep. TDR VOS SlickEQ. TDR Kotelnikov. Vladg limiter No6.

Hi folks,

hope someone can help, maybe reefius, looked like you found a way too just UPDATE/OVERWRITE your existing song so that comments etc. still exist and it does not have to be approved and announced again ?

I just could not find it yesterday so I uploaded my song again and I think that will drive evrybody (al least poor Bjporter) crazy cause I am afraid it may happen again..

So any advice someone ? I know I should first finish a song before I upload but last (and first) contest just brought so many stones too roll whenever I think I am finished now something new came to my mind or someone else find something what HAS to be changed...

Any hint really appreciated,

UPDATE/OVERWRITE your existing song so that comments etc. still exist and it does not have to be approved and announced again

You just need a Soundcloud pro membership. It's not a problem if you want to delete your track and re-upload, just announce the latest version before the deadline.

Do you have a Soundcloud Pro account? Updating your songs is only possible with Pro and Pro Unlimited accounts.

If you have a Pro account, there should be a button named 'Replace file' on the Edit screen.

What about just uploading the new version as well as keeping the old one, at least youd keep the comments and people can add new comments to the new track.
At the end of the OSC just remove all the old tracks and keep the final one

Thanks for the replies, no I have no pro account and really dont makes sense for my few songs in here.

I was just afraid driving Bjporter crazy and making evrybody mad by uploading again.

But best idea of course from bibz1st if necessary to upload a new version just keeping the old versions and then deleting in the end.

I know I will need at least ONE more version but I will try to wait with that till I am realy finished.....(though I know that will never be.....)
