I am BETA testing this beast at the moment and WOW its so good.
I started trying to pick faults and tried to think of stuff I wanted to add to the plugin. I had no luck EVERYTHING has been thought about ; even the reverb is set up on its own send (inside the plugin). There is every single effect you could wish for from ; Flangers ,EQ's, AA Reverb (Best reverb ever IMO), Side Chain compression, Tape stop effect to multi band limiters and distortion.
I could use this with no additional plugin inserts on the channel strip.
Sound quality - Phenomenal!
Use of ease - Amazing!
I may have to do a video showing what it can do.

You insulted Synth1 because of an idiot, not cool man.recursive one wrote: shall be obliged to use Synth1 only for all his/her productions during his/her entire life.

I'm not sure anyone said they could be added. I know i didn't.Ingonator wrote: As i just mentioned a FFT spectrum filter could only remove partials/harmonics from a waveform (or increase/decrease the amplitude of them), not add them.
To add specific partials/harmonics you would need an additive waveform editor.
I myself brought it up for EmGee because if one hasn't realised yet, that all other waveforms not a sine wave/a pure tone, are simply made up of many more other frequencies/tones to create the waveform that exists, the concept of what an FTT filter does, how it works, might be a lil confusing.
Technically though, if loading a square wave, wouldn't the filter now work like and additive/subtractive editor. Wouldn't all the possible partials (is that the right word?) exist with in the filter, especially in Bin (if that's the word he says) mode.
edit: as long as one presses the lowest note.

The FFT spectrum filter could reduce the amplitude of partials in the waveform or boosts them but if they were not alraedy included in the waveform you have no chanvce to add those partials.mitchiemasha wrote: Technically though, if loading a square wave, wouldn't the filter now work like and additive/subtractive editor. So like all other filters this is indeed subrtactive and not additive.
Opposing to an additive editor the FFT spectrum filter seems to work in realtime so it will work for all waveforms in a wavetable while scanning trought the table, not just for one of them. If you use anotehr filter (e.g. LPF) this will act in series with the FFT filter so the effefct of both on the current waveform is combined.
A square wave only included od harmonics (0, 1, 3,5, 7 etc.) but no even ones and a Sawtooth includes all harmonics. In both cases the amplitude of the harmonics decreases quite fast.
As alraedy said if you want to create waveforms from scratch you usually nee an additive editor. Anyway a Saw waveform is the closest you could get when using a FFT spectrum filter if you want to create a waveform "from scratch".
Usually the FFT filter is used to filter out specific harmonics from a waveform which is more precice than using a "usual" filter tat filters big frequency bands.

This looks and sounds great. My request - I appreciate price hasn't been announced yet, but I would love you folks to consider the ability to buy a 2nd license at a discount. I keep my main elicenser permanently on the main rig. Thanks!

They did say they were looking at under $200. To me, that's a steal for something this huge.noiseboyuk wrote:This looks and sounds great.
