They reuploaded a new version a few hours after the incorrect 260mb one after being prompted by focusrite

How can’t they notice that but we do?

Serious question?
People, making mistakes is the simple answer.
There are philosophers and ZEN masters out there who claim that life itself is a perpetual chain of errors following errors

Sure but the thing is with SoudMorph it is always sketchy, buggy and sloppy.

So it's only taken them 2 whole years to fix their damn software so it works correctly with windows 10 64 and Cubase. Congratulations Soundmorph for showing that you aren't completely incompetent.
edit: Spoke too soon. Bug. Can't use the next/previous preset buttons on the GUI once the window has gone out of focus.

true, but i cant really kill them over this, they did right by me. when i first had this problem, i sent in a bug report...they asked me to try a few things, and then confirmed with me that they were already aware of the issue....BUT they did completely refund my money and allowed me to hold on to the license for "helping" them identify the problem. i didnt really help, they already knew about it...i just confirmed it on my own system.Neon Breath wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 7:34 pmYeah yeah hold on before screaming victory, it's SoundMorph after all! Don't ever forget

Hey. Come on. Give them and yourself a break. Obviously you knew about problems with their software and you bought nevertheless. No one forces you. Other mothers have lovely daughters too. Don't get so upset about "nothing"wickfut wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 2:17 pm So it's only taken them 2 whole years to fix their damn software so it works correctly with windows 10 64 and Cubase. Dust is a cool plugin with witch you could do already a lot of great sound design before an update arrived. I wouldn't rely as first choice live instrument but in a studio to get your sound design snippets out it's awesome.

Dust it definitely a really cool plugin, very unique like no other and pretty creative. No doubt about that, that's not the question. I think people (myself included) are just irritated how sloppy and unprofessional SoundMorph is with their customers, over the years with buggy & broken half-baked plugins all the time, but that people pay full price. That's the issue.

I only got Dust and I am happy with it for what it is. I think this could be my first and the last plugin from SoundmorphNeon Breath wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 5:48 pm Dust it definitely a really cool plugin, very unique like no other and pretty creative. I bought it on release. It was their first VST. The initial release version worked fine apart from a few minor bugs. Their updates are what caused it to not work at all. My crystal ball's batteries had died.nichttuntun wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 4:42 pm

In fact Dust-FX version wasn't included when buying, even though it was promoted and mentioned it was. Then once it was available months after, it was not working. Took a while again to have something working. Now you can see, among many other issues, why SoundMorph doesn't have a rock solid reputation in term of overall product quality. Nothing personal here, just facts so people know clearly in what boat they step in when buying their plugins.

Dust is their only plugin; they're primarily a sample (sound effects) company, who also do some (relatively specialist) Reaktor and MAX/MSP sound design tools. Ive always assumed that Dust was contracted to some other company, TBH.Neon Breath wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 6:46 pmNothing personal here, just facts so people know clearly in what boat they step in when buying their plugins.

They have standalone software too like Timeflux... Also very messy.
