You can use it to quantize. I'm not using microtonal scales at all in my music, so my experience in this field is really limited.

I've quickly recorded a small video that shows the process. I hope, this helps!

I stopped patching complex scattering junctions and mixing matrices.
Nested allpass filters gave me similar results with a fraction of the work.

this is only for Windows ? How about mac ?

hi! i'm glad, you like the sounds. yes, the plugin is windows only, and a mac port is not planned.

Does Alpha Forever take CV input or output CV? In other words, could I use it directly with a hardware modular assuming I had a DC coupled interface?

I've never tested it with hardware modular systems since I'm not into Eurorack myself. In theory, this only depends on your audio interface: if it is DC-coupled, you can use its audio inputs/outputs as CV. Alpha Forever provides 8 audio in/out ports, and you can also run multiple instances if needed. In AFM, there's no differentiation between audio and control signals: everything happens audio-rate, with values represented as floats (not normalized).
