Hi all, sorry this is a bit late as some of you have voted already, but especially when the number of tracks gets large I find the voting site to be a bit cumbersome to use, dragging up and down the page repeatedly. I whipped up a super quick hack if you care to use it which just positions the 5 boxes to on the left side of the browser in a fixed location, making it very much easier to use. All you need to do is execute this in your browser console:
you would need to do that each time you reload the page, so you could copy/paste that into a greasemonkey script if you wanted, or if you don't know how to use the browser console or would rather you can also add a bookmarklet with the following code as the link (name it something like "OSC voting site position fixed"): and then just click it when you're on the voting site. In Chrome you do this by going to: ⋮ menu -> Bookmarks -> Bookmark Manager -> ⋮ menu -> Add new bookmark
It's not especially pretty, but it makes the process of dragging the tracks to the required locations quite a lot easier.
Code: Select all
document.head.insertAdjacentHTML('afterend', '<style>.starPanel{position:fixed;left:0;width:45%;height:20%;box-sizing:border-box;background:#fff;overflow:scroll;z-index:9999}#star5{top:0}#star4{top:20%}#star3{top:40%}#star2{top:60%}#star1{top:80%}</style>')Code: Select all
javascript:document.head.insertAdjacentHTML('afterend', '<style>.starPanel{position:fixed;left:0;width:45%;height:20%;box-sizing:border-box;background:#fff;overflow:scroll;z-index:9999}#star5{top:0}#star4{top:20%}#star3{top:40%}#star2{top:60%}#star1{top:80%}</style>')It's not especially pretty, but it makes the process of dragging the tracks to the required locations quite a lot easier.

I stated before
Also, I already voted, but I guess I might revise my votings at some point. Maybe on the weekend.
And of course, all the best and get well soon to @jasinski and @doctorbob.
Now I know why. This community is super wholesome. Thank you all! And I think you got me hooked...

In an attempt to avoid dealing with The Day Job, I have voted and hopefully left comments on everyone's work. Thanks to all for the hard work and, let's be honest here, sheer bravery involved in this. I just got to listen to 60+ tracks made by complete strangers who, like me, carved time out of their busy lives to stretch themselves and share a little of their art. That's pretty special, regardless of what score I gave you. Also, everyone who did this/does this is clearly not entirely in control of their own sanity so I feel like I fit right in...
Thanks also to our generous hosts, as always, for making this work.
And now onto OSC 143...
o
PS - Better health and swift recoveries to @doctorbob and @jasinski.

Thanks O, from over the border! Feeling a bit better, but eye is not a pretty sight! Comments appreciated and will think about what you said for the next round. Depends if I go ambient/filmic or jazz though.

Hello everybody,
I have voted, but I still have to write some comments.
If I didn't comment on your track, it doesn't mean I think it's bad.
Because of the large amount of tracks, voting was really difficult this time.
Most of the tracks are very good, and I will certainly listen to some of them again.
Good luck everybody!
@doctorbob & @jasinski - I hope that you will be completely healthy again, soon.
