I have dozens of cliff swallows nesting on my house... so I hear their lovely sounds all through the day right now.ghettosynth wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 3:19 amOh well, I get that, but there's no help there for the time it takes and the time you're away from music.pdxindy wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:26 am
I enjoy the physical activity... it does not feel like a burden. Same like planting and caring for gardens.

I figure a day or two before I test out the Beebo.
I found some Himalaya Blue Poppy seeds online. Planted a while ago and finally a couple seeds germinated in the pots. This is what the flowers look like.

Something I've wanted since 2018 NAMM: Two things I've wanted since they came out (respectively): ... and one thing that somehow slipped under my radar until a month or so ago, but is doubtless going to prove 'indispensable'. well pleased.

Here's my micro setup. It looks like 0-Coast will arrive next week. I was really hoping to dig in this weekend. The worst part is that while it's in route, I keep toying with the idea of adding a 4ms desktop "pod" to house a small number of modules.
What I'd like to pick up is a filter module of some sort. Any suggestions of one (or a few) that's unlikely to be replaced later? I checked out unrelated comments on Reddit briefly and everything is a killah "must-have" module.
I've almost added morphagene several times (but at the moment I know it's because it looks crazy cool and I know samples).

So....after moving away from software this year and investing in hardware I spontaneously bought FL Studio all plug ins edition and an AKAI Fire! I blame lock down. Still, the whole lot was under £400 and its a lot of stuff! Some of the included VSTs are amazing and unknown to me, so its a real eye opener...I have even managed to work out how to make FL Studio work my way (like a normal DAW) as well as using it as a VST plug in (my original plan) so all is good so far and a lifetime of free updates. No regrets, but lets see if I am still using in in 6 months!
Still waiting on my ordered Liven XFM (shipping slipped) and my Osmose (shipping slipped) so the instant gratification download won again!

Is that a laptop power brick running the DC4 in your pic? I'm thinking about some kind of power solution to thin out all the power adapters I have in my current setup (0-Coast, 0-Ctrl, Field Kit FX, guitar pedals, Volca Sample).
justin3am posted about the DC7 previously but that's a bit much for me right now. I'm gravitating towards the DC4 as it's cheaper and more compact and I think the 4 outputs would cover my needs fine for the time being. Also it seems to have a few options for it's own power.
Have you tried running it from a USB powerbank? I wonder would it be able to power all of the above from one. I have the Field Kit FX, two Boss pedals and a Zoom Multistomp all running from the Field Kit FX's psu with a daisy chain splitter cable. That might be a bit high on the current draw but even if it could run the FKFX that would be fine. I could put the pedals and splitter cable onto a Boss psu.
