All Saurus options screw up the Reaper VST windows, cutting parts off and producing scroll bars. With ancient Sylenth1 that is no problem at all.
Why are you using a 1366 x 768 resolution on a 27" monitor? Is the native resolution 2560 x 1440? If so, does everything look too small on screen at that resolution?

If so, you can decrease the resolution without going all the way down to 1366 x 768. There is definitely a happy medium between the native resolution and a resolution that increases the size of objects on screen.

No, the monitor's native resolution is only Full HD, i.e. 1920 x 1080. So, I chose a lower resolution with the same aspect ratio in order to avoid distortions.

1366 x 768 is ideal for my needs, my older plugins (Retrologue, Hybrid, Toneboosters v3, etc.) look nice and big. My vision is not what it used to be, and I don't want to stare at the monitor.

Question: How can I reset the size? I accidentally made it too big and now I can't move the size handles or the plugin window up (Cubase) :hihi: There is no additional option for the size in the menu?

I get 2 scrollbars, with which I can get to the lower righthand corner again.

I have no scrollbars here :help:

Try to re-install it!
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Maybe they should put the Config options (which include the GUI size) from the lower right display to the upper left display. Or add ctrl-+ and ctrl-- capability so one can change the size like the display of a browser.

I found a workaround... the standalone app has scrollbars and then you can come back to the settings for the size. Since the settings are shared between all instances and the standalone app, the plugin was then also usable again.
Not ideal, maybe it would be better to put the size settings in the menu or as a "right click" option when you click somewhere on the GUI?

Apart from that... good sounding synth and very resource friendly. What exactly is new in V4 I still have to test but it all makes a good first impression.... (and its a free update  )

Click on "Config" in the lower right-hand window of Saurus (located with the Arp and Matrix). You can select the size from there by clicking on the size you want...

Yes, but the window is not visible if the plugin is too large (and you cannot move the plugin, except the standalone version which has scrollbars). It needs a different implementation so the scaling is accessable also if the GUI is very large.

Temporarily increase your screen resolution to make the plugin relatively smaller, adjust the plugin size, then restore your normal resolution. Works for me on a laptop with a painfully small screen when I accidentally resize a plugin too much.

Saurus is able to detect the screen resolution automatically. If you select a size larger than you screen a warning is shown. You should not ignore warnings ;-)

If you accidently should have selected a size larger than you screen these solutions are available:

A) Use the standalone. It has scrollbars. Than change the size
or
B) In Saurus click on Config then Size.
or
C) Delete Saurus4EditorSize.cfg in the saurus_sound directory

This is a great update well done Markus. Didn’t really gel with this when it first came out. Significant improvement.
