I havent read through the whole 30+ pages here to see if anyone found an answer to this problem.
I quite often am getting stuck notes especially if i play a bit heavily or lots of notes at once.
Its a bit annoying as i really really love the sound of the first included patch (its about all i use so far) "voyager" which sounds beautiful layered with a piano.
I used to have an ensoniq eps sampler and some of these sounds remind me of some from the factory disks.

a little tip for anyone interested.. this plugin sounds very sweet running through the nebula dynamic convolution preset- mooged filter (and others).. takes some of those high nasties out and sounds very smooth! We did some recording with our ensoniq gear back in the mid 90's and was amazed at how much better it sounded through the studios gear (it was one of the better equipped studios in melbourne and belonged to tim finn, neils brother) than how it sounded at home in the rehersal room.. that nebula plugin definitely reproduces some of the magic!

If you sometimes get stuck notes just hit the Panic button and it will clear things up.

is anyone else using this brilliant plugin with ableton live? the new version of sq8l does not update the gui properly when changing between the screens (osc waves/osc mix/osc1 pitch/and so on). is anyone else experiencing this? an earlier version of sq8l i used worked perfectly in this regard.....

brilliant instrument nonetheless.

Oh is that what it does? Shame in FL I can't see the Panic button!

Havent tried it in FL7 though, I think plugins look smaller.

latest 0.83a update working fine here

no longer needs the install

not had any stuck notes in eXT & XT2 beta

the latest version listed on the site is 0.82 but there is a 0.83 that it downloads, for those having problems check you have the latest upload from 28/1/07

Yeah, stuck notes here with EXT, too. Thankfully, so far it seems the only problem with it and it doesn't happen so often. Sounds sweet, definitely retro. I used to own ASR-10 sampler and it, too, sounded dark and soft like this. Magnificent work. I always wanted an ESQ-1, so now I have it, Yay!

Edit: While editing sounds, I noticed one more thing/problem: it doesn't update [the screen] most of the edit pages properly while editing and jumping from one page to another, but you can click on the screen with the left mouse button and it updates it then. However, it doesn't do it all the time... strange.

Edit: no stuck notes with version 083a!

Just to bump this awesome freebie *I seriously gotta update though* and I got a question:

The presets that Chris Hülsbeck played with his demo on the early pages of this thread, is it maybe possible to know which ones they were? Or is there maybe a "Hülsbeck" bank for this thing?

I browsed through 40% of the offered "presets collection" (might be as well listed on Page 1) but didn't even come close to Chris' sound (same with his QuadraSID Demo btw).

Either I'm doing something terribly wrong, or I'm just not made for these old synths - haha.
