That may be possible and is a good idea. I'll get back if I get it working. The envelope this isn't exactly like the real thing, but it's a good idea too and easier to implement.

Dave, thanks again for the GB... gigabytes of good stuff stuff here... One suggestion for the future, not sure if it's been mentioned, but if it's possible to put an update timestamp on the download pages, that would make it easy to see when something's been updated relative to when it was originally downloaded.Squids wrote:kit itself is being updated for anyone who hasn't downloaded it yet (or you could just redownload it).

Thanks. I have a list going of things to improve on the site and that is one of them. Also product specific news in the back end which would help (right now it goes to everybody so we had to keep it minimal but there could have been better communication from us during this and next time we'll have that improved).kbaccki wrote:Dave, thanks again for the GB... gigabytes of good stuff stuff here... Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks. What I'm saying is that the Premier MT kit sounds nothing like the premier Stm kit. The premier mt sounds more like the gretsch. i think there is still a mixup.Squids wrote:Yes, it is the same kit. But this is the multitrack version. The Dry and Ambient were just two different mixes (blends of mics from the multitrack kit) and then combined into stereo kit pieces.duojet wrote:
Hi, I may be missing something, but this does not sound like the stereo premier kit. It sounds like a different set of drums (more like the gretsch). Isn't this supposed to be the MT version of the stereo premier kit dry and ambient?

I used downloadthemall in Firfox. It's an add-on for firefox. When you get the "save as" page, it gives you a choice.

yeah i tried that but don't get a "save as" page, i just click and save the link as a regular download or login.php.html - not sure what i'm doing wrong or if i clicked a wrong button so downloadthemall isn't default? frustrating.Reverend Rhythm wrote:I used downloadthemall in Firfox. Try to right click over the download link. The option to use the download manager should appear in the menu.bambam wrote:yeah i tried that but don't get a "save as" page, i just click and save the link as a regular download or login.php.html - not sure what i'm doing wrong or if i clicked a wrong button so downloadthemall isn't default? frustrating.Reverend Rhythm wrote:I used downloadthemall in Firfox. If not, check if you have the addon activated. Maybe you are executing Firefox in "safe" mode: with all the addons deactivated.

You have to go into preferences and tell it where to DL to, then when you click DL on a file select downloadthemall and it will save it to the folder you told it to..I just finished DL ssd ex plus 2 expansion packs with that and it worked fine for them and this GB!!bambam wrote:okay, will give it a shot. thanks for the reply.standalone wrote:Try to right click over the download link. No there isn't. The STm kits were resampled FROM that very NDV Premier MT kit. But with certain mix settings for a more direct vs. ambient sound - possibly some tuning differences but it is the same kit. Really. That is the source of those two kits.duojet wrote:Thanks. Will the Mapex MT kit's snare issue be checked, or there is no issue at all?. There are big differences in volume between consecutive hits (at least in the GM kit).
I've tried changing some settings but with little success. Any tips?.

This is a problem with several snares, would love to have a fix, and would love to have a manual so maybe I can discover what the articulation button does, doesn't seem to do anything. Loving the sounds though! (EDIT) There is a good description of the snare volume/velocity problem on page 28 of this thread.)standalone wrote:Will the Mapex MT kit's snare issue be checked, or there is no issue at all?.
