Ok, so I haven't implemented many feature requests yet; time for that still- I've been focusing on stability.

If you're experiencing any issues with EQuilibrium, please grab 1.02 from here:

http://dmgaudio.com/dl/EQuilibrium%20v1.02/

This tests ok here, and once beta get back to me with a head-nod, this will go to release; interim, it has lots of positive fixes, and a few extra features.

Changelog: v1.01->v1.02
- Fix display of SetupWindow menu
- Fix pops with VST3 version
- Fix VST3 surround support in Cubase/Nuendo
- Add Rectangular/Parametric window type
- Imported analyser curves get a different colour
- Preserve selective-load flags
- Normalize FlatTop window (to avoid level jumps)
- Fix Mac RTAS version
- Improve HPF performance
- Move graph numbers to highest layer

I am going to take a break next week.

Those of you who're DMGAudio customers hopefully know that feature requests will be handled in due course. I've a lovely long list, and I'll whizz through them all when I get back :)

This launch comes at the end of six months of solid uninterrupted development, and it's taken a toll. So my plan has been to fix ALL stability issues (which I +HOPE+ I've done with 1.02), collate all the feature requests, and then I'm going to take a week off. I plan to disappear on wednesday, and surface a week later.

Interim, my brother and Krzysztof will be handling emails and such. Any problems with obvious stuff, they'll sort out right away. Feature requests, comments, love, hate, etc, they'll set aside for me to enjoy on my return.

So, I'll be quiet on the forum for a week. No doubt I'll suffer withdrawal symptoms! I think this is a good idea so that my head doesn't pop!

Anything that pops up before I go, I'll do whatever I can to address, obviously! But hopefully 1.02 is as stable out in the world as it is here, and we can just generate feature requests! :D:D

Anyway, just figured I'd give everyone a heads-up!

Sorry to spoil the party, but version 1.02 still crashes for me in reaper on winXP 32-bit SP3 when I click on the setupwizard.

I sent you a video through mail, Dave.

Best,
Dirk

1.02 version has no GUI when it loads then Ableton live crashes . The 1.01 version is flawless for me so I'm ok going back to that so still happy.

Installed 1.02 win 64bit VST
Windows 8 64bit
Ableton Live 8 64bit

Received, cheers. Very odd that. Still scratching my head. Can't get that to repro here. Is it worth trying reaper 4.32?

Thanks for taking the time to reply on the set bands Dave. Whether you make an update to address them or not (you already know my preference), I think you've still got a hell of an EQ. I'll buying it regardless (might even do it today).

Anyway, enjoy your time off. It sounds well deserved.

Well, what he said... :| (Cubase7 32)

To sum the experience (and with regards to his nick) : white interface, then the plug goes KABOOM

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

It also happened with 4.31.

Is there a way to uninstall and clean the registry or something like that? I want to try a completely clean install.

I'm for the elegance stepped controls, but I understand the inelegance of implementation. I like the ability to quantize settings in the original aireq. Given a choice, I'll usually go for the fewest significant figures: 1 dB gain increments, for example. I suppose that's my main reason for using numeric entry, when I do. It would be nice to mouse-wheel those kinds of "snapped" settings, though.

Yeah, I wonder if something has gotten stuck. Try c:\program files\dmgaudio\equilibrium and remove Presets and Default Bank from there. That should clear everything out. After that, it'll open with setup wizard.

I uninstalled with revo uninstaller and manually deleted the above folder. Re-installed but it keeps crashing...

Is there any kind of crash report its generating you could send me?
Did you try with 4.32?

No crash report other than the error message you saw in the video, and 4.32 gives the same crash.
