Did you allow the eLicesner subinstall to run?Robmobius wrote:That's exactly what I got too...Everglide wrote:Largo RC2 installer Mac OSX Mavericks
tbh I wish devs didn't bundle the dongle software inside an installation - if they want to include it in the zip that's fine but they should let people update it separately if they need to.

if your elicenser is not current enough it can lead to problems. The installer should automatically check to never overwrite a newer installation.

I think that is the case already. At least on Windows i had it a couple of times that the eLicenser installer didn't seem to upgrade the eLicenser installation.electro wrote:if your elicenser is not current enough it can lead to problems. just to avoid confusion (and also to help fixing possible bugs...). Did re-installing the latest eLicenser softwrae solve the problem with the Installation of Largo on OSX?

My experience is if you do not allow the eLicenser updater to run that's when you get the failed install message. I would still prefer they were not in the same installer but just in the zIp with a read me saying to update if you need to - otherwise you will get people thinking they don't need it, cancelling the elicense install and getting a failed install message.

Hi,
based on the Problem with the eLicenser it is possible that in future Installers the eLicenser is not automatically installed.
One option is to include a link for the eLicenser website in the manual.

Or just include the latest version in the zip but as a separate installer with a readme advising people to make sure they are uptodate.Ingonator wrote:Hi,

could you please give more informations about your OS and the host used and also the plugin format (e.g. 64-bit VST 2)?
