I just reproduced it in Bidule, so I'll report this and then forget it. maybe it's something you want to look into at some point. If I use the engine settings and load at buffer rates at LARGE or under (over riding preset settings) ... no problems. If I increase the audio buffer rate to "xlarge" or above, I can play it no problem... even at "xxlarge". So I have my buffer rates set at "xlarge" and then close synthmaster and then reload synthmaster with the engine settings at the same ("xlarge") setting and then it acts up. At first I'm thinking "O.K. that means it updates the audio buffer rate after reload." but then I can take the buffer rates DOWN to fix the problem and it takes affect immediately correcting the problem in real time. I can then up the buffer rate again in real time to "xlarge" and I'm able to play again with out issue.
The cpu tracking seems to be a little off to me too, but maybe I'm wrong about that. What Reaper tells me the FX cpu is, and what Synthmaster tells me the cpu is, are two totally different percents, and cpu usage doesn't seem to change much by lowering or raising the audio settings so. There it is. Thanks for the update though... the 140% is PERFECT for me! I gotv my synthmaster back!!!

SynthMaster report CPU cycles for one core. Reaper reports for all cores.Dasheesh wrote: The cpu tracking seems to be a little off to me too, but maybe I'm wrong about that. Yes I was aware of that from the beginning, will fix when I have spare time to work on cosmetic issues.Prestidigitator wrote:Thanks for the update, looks sweet!

two minor issues:
- is it possible or a good idea to have an option to set the "Global Voice #s" ? each preset has its own "number of voices", but it is my impression (as a newbie) that setting voices to 8 make the sound fuller (assuming the cpu supports the load). so was wondering if it would be possible to set the Global Voice #, just as other global settings.
- it is great that we can use the mouse scroll-wheel to turn the knobs.
I was wondering if it is possible to have an option to set the global scroll direction to be the "reverse" scroll? because I have changed the macOS global setting to make the scroll-wheel behave like windows, (unchecked the "Scroll direction: Natural" in macOS Mouse setting), and as a result of unchecking this the scroll-wheel behaves in the opposite direction in SynthMaster.
when I scroll the wheel toward myself, I expect the knob value decrease, and when I scroll away from me, I expect the knob value increase, and I believe this is the actual behaviour in SynthMaster, but the macOS mouse settings make it to behave the opposite.
these are really minor issues, and if you are busy it is really not important, but if its possible assign low priority in the issue tracker

Will three be possible to add 5% (105,110) increased skins? or maybe options to do so in the GUI editor. I can now pick up 120% skin and make it 90% so i would get 110% but i get the red lines, also the selected module color becomes dimmed.kv331 wrote:Yes I was aware of that from the beginning, will fix when I have spare time to work on cosmetic issues.Prestidigitator wrote:Thanks for the update, looks sweet!

That was on my mind as welldarksynth wrote:two minor issues:

I guess I will concentrate on v3.0 development now. If I have some spare time I'll add that.

To get rid of the red lines I have to edit the background images. Jonathan (the UI designer) did it in a different way so we're seeing those red lines when scaled.Elektronisch wrote: Will three be possible to add 5% (105,110) increased skins? or maybe options to do so in the GUI editor. Also i did noticed that Synth LFO goes after ADSR 1 and 2 and then again ADSR, then MSEGs, VLFO and Synth LFO 2/3/4. Is that intentional or just bug in modules order?
I saw you have mentioned you will remove LFO section, are those SYnth LFOS? what is the difference between Voice and Synth LFO?
I was thinking about GUI and given the ability to drag and drop i think its useful to give ability to the users to Hide/Unhide Matrix/Settings part to make the interface a little bit less wide and less ocupied
Also i did noticed there is strange behaviour with LFO rates as in Synthmaster. If i set 1/64 or 1/128 its still shown and behave like set to 1/32. Same also happens in SYnthmaster one.

Modulation sources that have targets are displayed first, that is not a bug. I'll look into the LFO 1/64 issue.Elektronisch wrote:kv331 wrote:Elektronisch wrote: Also i did noticed that Synth LFO goes after ADSR 1 and 2 and then again ADSR, then MSEGs, VLFO and Synth LFO 2/3/4.
