Weird cant get the seq to (sync) with daw playback/start. Unless it is smarter than me Lol.
ok nvrmnd. it does sync, just doesnt trigger playback when starting daw.
no big deal i guess.

Doesn't it? Once the Play button is down in Infiltrator it should play when your DAW plays and I think free-wheel at the same speed when you press stop.

Let me know if it's confusing or broken

Hey thanks for responding. Yes it does, but the Infiltrator sequencer has to be running. Was expecting it to be synced with daw playback, like start/stop. It still works though, just a different way of implementing it than iam used to i guess.

I just noticed that version 2.2.8 is out. Im not at my workstation now so I cant try it out. On the list of new additions it does not seem like switching between presets with midi has been added, can anyone comfim this?

Looks like they’ve added it:

Infiltrator can now utilise MIDI program and bank change messages in order to change presets. Simply right-click a preset bank in the preset browser, and use the context menu to assign it to a MIDI program change bank, and its presets can now be selected via MIDI.

I'm not able to get the MIDI Program Change to work. Any tricks to it? I followed the instructions on the release notes page but it doesn't work in Bitwig using the MIDI Program Change device.

Got a reply back from Devious Machines right away and it works in VST2, just not VST3 right now.

The last dot needs to be up, that way when you don't have your trigger it will sound normal, use the lookahead if you want to avoid clicks and that's it!

That's a pitty.
I'm not sure why that would be by design since all other effects are only effective when enabled or played in the sequencer.

Ah, that sounds like a bug! We're a tad busy at the moment, but I'll add a ticket for it so it gets sorted.

Yes, its very impressive. I had it since realease and was impressed from the get go, but when v.2 came out and they added FFT processing, which I love, it truly went into a league of its own
