It's one of my favorite plugins. It's my #1 choice for monophonic analog-style sounds. It's a bit too heavy on CPU usage for me to want to use it often for polyphonic stuff, though I'm sure it would be good at that, too.SebAV wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 8:16 am Like in Arturia threads, people are only talking about the update prices. It’s ok but near 1 year after the 2600 went live, are you still enthusiastic by it ? Does it inspire you to make sounds you don’t think you’d have thought of with other synths ? Does it still sound analog after living for one year in your computer ?

Hi,
I'm hesitating to buy the Korg Collection 5 due to my 5K screen ... are the plugins GUI resizeable ? ( even for old plugins like Wavestation, Kaos Pad, etc )
Thanks in advance for the info.

I would pay for a korg collection 6 unifying/fixing all their UIs and usability.
Examples that come to mind: the wavestation not emulating the hardware workflow (it's as user hostile to program as it gets), the oddisey still being tiny, mousewheel not working on each plugin, menu/dropdown diving selections of samples without allowing to change in one action (e.g. mousewheel or arrow buttons for next previous sample/choice). Just take a look at any U-he plugin, they nail these basic usability issues.

Just note about ARP2600 FX version set, among more\less generic things it include pretty interesting delays, like "Reverse Delay" and "Auto Reverse" - in last can get seems pretty unique result. (Which of course will cost you permanently about 27% cpu lol, as for just fx). But just saying.
In any case, that set of effects which include in 2600 (and the same in PS3300) particularly this delays - there is no in other korg plugs (incl. Kaoss Pad, where more basic delays set, although there is more interesting other fx's).
So 2600 is only way to use them "externally".
Upd This also include pretty wide set of different choruses, and reverbs (incl Shimmer).
Could this be consider of making as a separate fx module maybe. For cut extra cpu impact exactly. Well, this could going together with 2600 license at least, but as separate plug.
