It is possible for VSTs to get the note expression data, we send this:
http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midituning.php [SINGLE NOTE TUNING CHANGE (REAL-TIME)]
and this:
http://www.midi.org/techspecs/ca23.pdf

the vst has to canDo "receiveVstSysexEvent" on order to receive them.

No because they don't want people to steal the idea from feature request of their product.

Pure speculation at this point: nothing has officially been confirmed by Bitwig nor did any of the Betatesters mention it. Isn't it odd that of all the cat pictures we have, NONE of them have a cat and Bitwig Studio together?
And what about this???

Probably no cats allowed.

heh, its so hard to take anything on bitwigbeats seriously. Every article in there is just laden with fanboy remarks and nebulous comments about quality with no data or anything to back it up. Even though it appears the author has been a beta tester for a long time its just hard to get past things like knocking on the glue compressor without realizing its better than the ones the author said he would go buy instead and doesn't realize it's based on one of the best vst compressors (yes i realize that comment is similar, but come on, its definitely comparable to the ones he lists). Every 'comparison' article leaves out anything lacking in bitwig, so hardly any actual comparison is done.

He states things like summing quality, effects, blah blah blah, the usual, with of course nothing to compare and no data to back up anything. Guess thats par for the course for this stuff though

^I hadn't been keeping up with it for that reason. A definite fanboi vibe last time I checked it out.

fanboys let company earn more money but at the same time lose the impression of the seriousness of the products. That makes people tend to look Cubase, Protools, etc as a professional products and Reason, Live, etc as ones for fanboy.

Cubase, Protools, ect all have fan boys too.
Have you really never met a Protools fanboy?

Fanboi's exist all over. I'm a fanboi of live and studio one. I also have a soft spot for reaper though I currently do not use it. I do agree though with that site being wacky. Maybe if it had more cats? :hihi:

No one would thinks there is 0 fanboy in protools user. It just means whether the marketing and user base are heavily formed around fanboyism or not.
