Guy in the last band that I was in (years ago) had a carvin along with a carvin combo tube amp. It really sounded good to my ears. He eventually sold it off because he wanted a PRS, but personally, I liked the carvin.hibidy wrote:

I dunno, I can't play it first so I'm pretty nervous about it but....don't you think that looks great?

Gotta get my front tooth done instead. Can't put it off anymore. That's 900 bucks and that is if I don't have any cavities or whatnot. Carvin will be there next month or the month after. I pisses me off I cannot get in on the sale but it will have to wait

I remember that model. I played it several times and then someone else bought it. Massive hard rock tone amazing neck. That was like the only Carvin I ever saw IRL back in the 70's/80's. Usually when someone purchased it new via mail-order they didn't sell it.

BTW, the photos are coming up now
Nice guitar. I pushed my dentist visit back because there is just too much going with the PT and such. Maybe now I can justify it

I'm currently making a BC Rich Avenge more comfortable to play sitting down.
Original:

10 minutes with the spindle sander:

Probably going to paint it either dark metallic purple or light metallic green. I'll be changing the neck to one with neutral inlays too.

I'm posting this here only because I dont want to start another thread...I thought this was funny

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
