I priced a Warmoth a couple of months ago.....it was pretty expensive and I'd have to put it together myself
BTW, a week has passed since I put in my order. MAN, that was a slow week. My god it's going to be FOREVER before the next 5-7 weeks go by
Hopefully it will be like one guy who just got his over at SS and it will be early. Nah, it's me we're talking about

No wonder yourself and John get on so well Greg. Samp and eternal tinkering upon formulas on your weapons of choice
One of those way out of my price and even though it looks odd it still has something about it that makes it appealing, Can't put my finger on why
I'm so broke I don't think I could treat myself to a Pacifica
- That's when you know its time to knuckle down and save up hardcore
Chris can't wait to hear how the Carvin is once it arrives, It looks really good plus I've geeked on their catalogues and custom bit, Its very good for the money in dollars it seems

Everyone just drips about how good they are. I dunno. I just really wanted a non-ibby hardtail and kinda like that PRS/LPish look. These are not easy to find. The ESP horizons for example are not really available here in the states much. I don't want a LP and they are WAY too expensive anyways. The Mayones is out. Way too much coin.
Not easy to find. Didn't want another ibanez.....I have plenty of those

My Warmoth tele's that I got on eBay were each under $500 assembled and loaded. One came with Lollar's, the other came with Kinman's. The Lollar tele is the best tele I've ever played, no hyperbole.hibidy wrote:I priced a Warmoth a couple of months ago.....it was pretty expensive and I'd have to put it together myself![]()
I only paid $200 for my Warmoth strat that was stolen from me. Fortunately, before it was stolen, I had taken off the pickguard, a weird circuit board design loaded with Little 59's, that was the main reason why I loved that strat. Unfortunately, I had put on a different pickguard loaded with Kinman's that cost me twice as much as the guitar itself.

Can't say that's ever worried me. Years ago, I bought a bass from a really cute college guy on a forum, and I remember thinking it would be rather provocative if he had on a few occasions played it in his room just lazing around in the buff.hibidy wrote:Well, I was referring to ordering it. Hey, it's not like it isn't a thought many straight guys would have if they were purchasing an instrument from a beautiful woman.

I don't think I've ever bought any music gear from a beautiful woman before. In fact, now that I think about it, we've had a relatively large number of women sell or trade in stuff to our store, I bet that's because women don't want strange men going over to their places to buy stuff off Craigslist.Vectorman wrote:Hey, it's not like it isn't a thought many straight guys would have if they were purchasing an instrument from a beautiful woman.

Yeah, I've purchased almost nothing from women. The ones that I have purchased stuff from, e.g. my recent bass, have been from wives or moms and have, in most cases, not been musicians themselves.Uncle E wrote:I don't think I've ever bought any music gear from a beautiful woman before. While I'm sure that, among guitarists, there are far more men than women, does that account for the observed distribution? I wonder if, beyond the fear factor of strange men showing up at your house to buy gear, if the tendency to constantly trade gear is more common among men than women?
