Hi,

If you are one of the people who wrote a very nice comment/testimonial regarding Aether 1.5 in the previous pages, we would love to post your quote on our web site. If you are willing to do do, please cut and paste your quote and email it to us at info [aatt] 2caudio.com along with your real full name so we can attribute it to you. We really love this kind of encouragement, and it makes us very happy to see we have done a good job. We feel other potential users enjoy knowing these kind of things too.

Any help you can offer in this area is great.

Feel free to consolidate or reformat any of your thoughts for this purpose as well. Or write a new quote. This goes for any existing 1.5 customer too... anyone who is willing to supply a user quote is welcome to do so, and it is appreciated.

Thank you.

I have the Lexcion Native Reverb and Aether 1.5 among a number of other reverbs. Regarding the Lexicon and Aether both are outstanding. I have had neither for very long so I can't say which I will end up using more. Both sound very smooth and have clean reverb tails without digital hash and artifacts. The Lexicon is easier to get a quicker result due to the presets it comes with that get you in the ballpark, but the Aether can create a wider range of soundscapes. I think which I will ultimately give the nod to depends on spending some time and tweaking my own set of presets for each.

Hm. Can't get the "2CAudio Aether Manual 1.5.0 (PDF)"-link to work at the page http://www.2caudio.com/products/aether/index.html

Edit: Ok, seems they're still working on it...

Has anyone else bought the new Creativity and Integrity presets for Aether? I've installed 'em but they don't seem to be available in the Aether presets menu on my Mac...

Post

new presets are merged into existing folders. You should now have over 600 total though instead of 300...

in a later version we intend to implement a method to display only certain presets packs, but this idea did not make it to the 1.5 version...

Hopefully they'll have the preset list uploaded in the next few hours. Will make auditioning them a lot easier...

This isn't a deal breaker but it annoys me since the 1.0 days: Why the navigation bar still there if it isn't going to be of any use!? I know there's a buy now button but comon, if I click "shop" we can at least expect it to go the right place rather than refreshing the same page, yes?

Post

Actually, I'm not sure the new presets have installed properly. Andrew says there should now be 600 presets but I only seem to have around 450, even though I installed both Creativity and Integrity. Won't know what's going on until I see the new preset lists. Please upload them asap!
