Brian, I hope you will keep your older customers in mind :) We would love to see some upgrade/crossgrade options to Custom Shop pieces from other AmpliTube products. Is this a possibility for the future?

Thanks,
Rich

As an existing customer, you will have JamPoints saved up that you can apply for up to 50% off the purchase price. That is better than a crossgrade!

BTW, I have confirmed that the Graphic EQ mono problem has been fixed in 3.5.2!

Hey Brian,

I had 17 jam points on my account until 3.5 was released.I used no jam points myself , but they have been reduced to 3 now. Is there some explanation for this?

Thanks

We had at one time a good deal going on with preset xchange, a monthly give away, I would like to see this come again. I have to say that I really like the new custom shop, buying a soldano amp for 20 US dollars, not a bad deal and an exceptional amp. I am looking forward to trying out the others and waiting for next months addition. I haven't had the time to try these lately, but, this evening I will give it a shot, playing live with my son, he is my band , he plays the keyboard, an Alesis Fusion, he can sequence, drums, bass, etc. and he can play the acoustic on his keyboard better than me, ha, I like to use an AB switch to go between AT and Peavey vypyr 30. I also use an ovation for some songs, and will swap to Roland VG 8 EX on certain songs. The Roland is excellent on guitar sims, slide, steel etc.

I understand Brian. Thanks for the clarification :)

I found the mic positioning in the free "AT 3 upgrade" really has enhanced the usefulness of my AT 2 amps and cabinets.

Because when IK have a sale they use a promo code rather than having the price set at the shop, so you can never EVER use jampoints for a sale, cause you can't enter another code, which is the only time most people buy anyway (cause IK has so many frequent sales, more than any other developer).
You're right about the Jam Points, but now you can use them in the new custom shop, and there, they are somewhat useful. You can only use them on 50 % of your purchase, but that's o.k. if you are looking for specific items in the shop. My guess is that sales won't be as frequent in the store as they were in the past with the boxed products/bundes, as the business model is a different one.

Maybe someone (KVRists, Brian ?) will care to give an anwser to my questioning about the way Custom Shop records and stores one user's licenses for purchased gear.

I indeed bought some models from the shop and everything went allright : they are here in my AT3, ready for use.

Yet, I can't seem to see any evidence of my purchases in my user area... Nor any serial nor specific download for those models.

How is it supposed to work, in case of re-install, or if I want to install AT3 on my second PC ?

Thanks in advance for shedding some light on this ! :)

Jampoints are a great idea, but has had unbelievably bad implementation IMHO.

I, like many others, had a whole bunch of Jampoints discontinued at the start of the program because they had expired before it started! It was funny to see them all listed in my account--and then--nothing...

Most recently, I had some points expire a month earlier than they were supposed to. I contacted the IK rep who said it would be adjusted so I could use them, but - now 3 months later - nothing.

This was designed as a client retention system, but all it has made me do is really think twice about how IK operates. From reading this thread, I don't really see much love for existing customers on the new AT 3.5. I have not upgraded, nor do I really see a benefit to doing so any time soon.

Cheers
