Still have the pop when switching model in the LS during playback in 1.02. It appears to happen only with the first four modes. When turning the LS on and off with 4kg model selected also pops.
If I can provide any useful info or you need me to check something particular, please let me know.

Just demoed it for the first time and WOW, I am very impressed so far. Seems inevitable to get this soon, probably say bye bye to Pro-Q (and most of the others) then.

Here's my dream.... a BIG timesaver for me....maybe not everyone...
EQubed
A plugin that contains Equick, Equality and Equilibrium, which defaults to open Equilibrium and has a dropdown menu so I can quickly switch between them.
First I uninstall Equick, Equality and Equilibrium.
Then, I install EQubed which installs 3 dll's so that existing projects open EQubed instantiated in the form it was called.
On new projects I can just choose a vst from EQubed, Equick, Equality and Equilibrium from the vst list it opens EQubed in that corresponding state.
This means I can update all my projects in the MINIMUM NUMBER OF CLICKS...which is apparently a sign of efficiency.

I was quite sure that I won't need EQuilibrium as I am no mastering specialist and I have good old EQuality and EQuick as my dream EQ team. But after playing with it a little bit, I really like the GUI and the sound possibilities of course. So I suppose Dave and Krzysztof will sell one more EQ to me (not too hard with the discount. Thanks.)
The only thing I did not manage to get working right is surround.
Maybe I don't understand the routing concept, maybe something is buggy on my system (OS X 10.8.3, Logic 9.1.8).
- it seems that the channels are mixed up. L and LFE are correct. But the other channels appear under the wrong Meter Ls=>R, C=>Rs, R=>C, Rs=>Ls (Logic=>EQuilibrium).
- what is the Master VU supposed to show? It seems it shows only L+R.
- when I activate Mid/Side for the first pair (L+R) in the routing, both channel meters (L+R) will show the signal even if I only have L (or R). Master VU shows only left signal. (The same applies for the other pairs)
I think I do not understand what the Mid/Side concept in the routing matrix means. The paragraph in the manual sounds greek to me. I'm stuck. Can anyone help?
One more thing:
Although the UI is really great I miss three informations that are not displayed without opening a Menu:
what graph displays, what signal shows the analyser and what preset was loaded.
I think at the top of the graph window there would be a good location to indicate those without cluttering the interface.

There's still this bug where bands get deactivated after I use the ctrl+scrollwheel to adjust them (also happens with EQuick):

Congrats on the release btw, seems like a wonderful tool! Will be buying as soon as my budget permits..

Hi,Kaboom75 wrote:1.02 version has no GUI when it loads then Ableton live crashes . The 1.01 version is flawless for me so I'm ok going back to that so still happy.
Installed 1.02 win 64bit VST
Windows 8 64bit
Ableton Live 8 64bit
Think I've found this one. Looked like a really silly error. Only shows up sometimes (analyser needs to be on). Fix is up at: http://dmgaudio.com/dl/EQuilibrium%20v1.02/ in the 1.02b.zip versions. You may need to remove the old versions before installing.

That is expected behaviour. Having adjusted a band and then moved away from it, it should deselect exactly as you see there.Eleventh wrote:There's still this bug where bands get deactivated after I use the ctrl+scrollwheel to adjust them (also happens with EQuick):

For some reason, Logic won't supply the channels in DTS format. I'll work around it.Tscho wrote:

L + R before or after all processing. Or whatever you are soloing.Tscho wrote: - what is the Master VU supposed to show? It seems it shows only L+R.
Yes although this is a little complicated. Master meters are "further out" than the channel meters, which are inside any MS process. If you have just L then the master meter will show just L irrespective of any MS. The MS encoding of a single sided signal IS both channels same signal. So this is what you will see on the channel meters. It is complicated but it allows you to do complicated things. And if it proves distracting, just don't switch it on.Tscho wrote: - when I activate Mid/Side for the first pair (L+R) in the routing, both channel meters (L+R) will show the signal even if I only have L (or R). Thanks, Dave, for your reply (and for looking into Logic and surround)
Suppose I want to cut 300 Hz of the the mid signal of my R+L pair in a 5.1 master. How would I route an audition that?
Thanks again.
Johannes
I don't find it distracting, i just want to understand what "complicated things" I might do with it. I work a lot with MS in my stereo work so I want to find out, what I can do with it in surround and in EQuilibrium. I would expect engaging MS on L+R would give me one Channel Meter/Fader for M and and one for S (as it does in Stereo). So I can solo/mute the Mid or Side signal while listening. But in surround the Meters/Faders seem to remain L+R.DaveGamble wrote:The MS encoding of a single sided signal IS both channels same signal. So this is what you will see on the channel meters. Oh I see. But it is extremely annoying. I have a sensitive mouse and the bands get deactivated even after the slightest movement, so I'm constantly having to re-select them. Would it be possible to make this optional please? =)DaveGamble wrote:That is expected behaviour. Having adjusted a band and then moved away from it, it should deselect exactly as you see there.

Do you know that you can adjust mouse sensitivity in windows ?
Mouse sensitivity set too high is annoying for any application.

tested the latest beta 1.02b.. Getting some spikes when switching between first 4 low shelf models, as well as sometimes switching between filter types, e.g. from peak to hpf etc.

edit: Unfortunately, the preset load bug i mentioned, still sxists !!
