I Installed a new hard drive and my Sample Location is the same. I want to load a Patch using my own Samples and get a "Missing Samples" dialog. What to do?

Is Factorsynth worth getting at under $40.

You can do similar things with novum. ie. Using the amplitude content of one signal to control the spectral content of another signal.
Factorsynth is more tweakable though.

Factorsynth is great. I think it’s a slightly more experimental tool than Novum and you can really get into breaking down sounds in a lot more detail. Also it’s a pretty good denoiser. I think of it as closer to a sampler than a synth so although the tech overlaps with Novum it’s quite a different thing.

I, almost certainly, have too much time on my hands because I rather like creating something in Factorsynth and then exporting some of the individual layers into Novum to mess with further.

Thanks for the comments on Factorsynth.
It's on sale right now!
But will likely wait for Black Friday.
