Thanks. I actually made that myself from a Burberry jacket and a Peavey bass, now I'm gonna do another one but make it look a little bit better.

Hink's more of a Prada man. :hihi:

So that's fabric? It looks like a veneer with a clear coat. How did you get it to look like a paint job?

Yup, glue, fabric, grain filler, and clear gloss spray. So far I've done two different versions of the Burberry pattern, both of which I've sold, an Armani (which I documented on video) and a Louis Vuitton.

This one: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eg_pag ... ies_id=164

Right price and features. Yep I'm going for an eight despite previously not feeling that I needed more than seven. Don't know how soon I'll get it but it is what I'm getting next :D

Nice big piece of 'weathered black' finished ash and a real sweet neck. I think I can get hold of one with hardcase for under £1000, So it won't take forever to save up for, Well not too long :hihi:

I had no idea they offered a non-house mortgage version! I thought the other was just a bit out of the price range.

Yeah I know, I was nearly physically sick when I found out the price of the M8M :O Couldn't justify that in eternity mate!

My spending spree with no regard for the future is possibly taking another swing and I might pick up a fender jazz bass.

The one I have some of you might remember from years ago is a squire. It's not really gettin' it for me. For one thing, the neck is glossed and I'm too lazy/un-diy to sand it down. Then there are a long list of things that are driving me crazy. There isn't really anything wrong with it. But I think for a low-end bass it's showing low end results.

I've been searching for a long time for a jazz bass. I've thought of everything, carvin, fender, wilkins, and couldn't find anything that is even close. But today I might have.

http://www.fender.com/series/american-s ... -sunburst/

I love the way it looks, I really like the neck and seems solid enough. They also have the American "deluxe" but I don't like the neck as much (and believe it or not I like 20 frets, not 21) The one thing keeping me from making a deal and pulling the trigger is the pups. They are the "vintage" types with the polls that stick way up. Now, I mostly play with thumb on the neck pup with the fingers in the middle of the two pups so it's not critical. But for the coin, I know already I'm going to want to do a pup swap....I hate trying to figure out what pups will work when I'm sure these will be good enough tone wise.

Ok, long post, sorry......but that is what I'm thinking of next. I really want a higher end jazz bass.
