@discodsp -- fyi I'm still having weird behavior with device focus when the obxd plugin window is open. Certain actions are prevented in the ableton browser (naming things, other actions) if obxd is open at the time. Also can't rename ableton devices while it's open.... I don't have issues with other plugin windows changing how I can interact with the DAW, but with obxd this continues to cause unexpected results, fyi.

Hello,
The MIDI CC command for the BEND OCTAVE button is available in the MIDI CC table of the OB-Xd synthesizer. You can find the table in the user manual which is available for download at https://www.discodsp.com/pdf/obxd.pdf.
To answer your question, the MIDI CC command for the BEND OCTAVE button should be BENDOSC2, and its assigned CC number is #34 by default.
I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have identified a bug in the MIDI Mapping system, where the BENDRANGE parameter (BEND OCTAVE button) shares the same Control Change (CC) number as another parameter. As a result, the functionality is impaired.
Please be assured that our development team is working to resolve this issue in the forthcoming update. Once the update is released, the BENDRANGE parameter will be assigned MIDI CC 31 to prevent any conflicts.
We appreciate your patience and your valuable feedback in helping us improve our product.

My antivirus detects 'Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml' which - according to the description - is severely dangerous and executes commands from an attacker...
Edit: This is when I use the Windows download from 'https://www.discodsp.com/obxd/'.
Edit2: Hmmm, when I turn off real-time protection and by this allow the download, then after the zip file is downloaded and I scan that downloaded file, then all seems to be good.

Hello there,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the detection of the Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml virus on your computer. While we can assure you that our products are thoroughly scanned for viruses and other malware prior to release, it is possible for viruses to be introduced to a downloaded file during transmission or through other means.
We take security very seriously and want to help you resolve this issue. Our recommendation is to use a trusted anti-virus software to scan your system and ensure that it is free of viruses or malware. If your current anti-virus software is causing issues with the download, you may want to consider using an alternative solution.
As for the specific issue you are encountering, it appears that disabling real-time protection allows the download to proceed, but we recommend against this as it leaves your system vulnerable to potential threats. Instead, we suggest that you download the file and then scan it with your anti-virus software before proceeding with installation.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We are here to assist you and ensure that your experience with our products is a positive one. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize again for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks @discoDSP!
Yes, I already did exactly as you proposed.
I turned off anti-virus real-time protection just for that single download (turned it on immediately after it again) and then first scanned the downloaded zip file and then even the extracted installer executable, both with no threads reported by the anti-virus software.

Glad to hear that you were able to download and scan the file successfully without any issues! It's always a good practice to be cautious and verify the safety of any downloaded files before proceeding with installation, especially if your anti-virus software detects a potential threat.

Hate beating a dead horse but this non commercial use clause is such a mess.
Lets say someone creates a free sample pack using the plugin and then someone or the same person uses the samples in a commercial production. Thats clearly a grey area as the sample pack itself was released as free right?
It is better to straight up say whats allowed and what's not under "non commercial use" or straight up say its a payware without all the legal nonsense.
