Latest official response from IKMM as of yesterday is that if you have AT2, you get it for free. No words on ATJHE's owners.
What's the latest word from IKMM about its availability?
Last month they said it would be out by tomorrow.
Same for Metal.

I think they are waiting for someone to buy stomp i/o first :hihi:

Today is the last day of February. Leap Year bought IKMM an extra day.
So where is it? Do these guys have a calendar?

Metal is supposed to be out no later than today, too. Unless they're going to play semantics with something like "that depends on what the meaning of 'by' is."

The X-Gear and Metal webpages still say they would be available in 2007.
This is already well beyond ridiculous.

I guess they're going for a repeat of the AmpliTube 2 fiasco...

Wait, doesn't "By March" usually means, _before_ march?

In Italy "by" means "including march and the following 6 months"..

LOL,

You cannot help but like these italians though man...I wish I could take life that easy and relaxed.

I think in North America we got used to that fast paced life where you always seem to be running towards something and not have enough time to do anything.

When you travel to countries like Italy where they take their time to enjoy life, and then you come back to north america, I swear, you wonder to yourself why the heck are all these people running for...you even find it weird. You can actually see the difference in the paste...that is until the paste catches up to you and you start sprinting again...

Italians relaxed?? lol..I was in Italy 3 times and I thought they could do with chilling out a little but then again I'm from Ireland originally and the Irish are a lazy bunch of bastards so I suppose its all about comparison and perspective eh?..lol

No disrespect though, I like the Italians a lot...Love the food too..

I just bought Amplitube 2 from the good folks at esoundz, still waiting for it...but anyway Amplitube Metal sounds good..I wonder what the differences will be?
I reckon there will be some cool stomp boxes in there..

Yep. I am guessing also that they have an overhauled engine, probably based on a newer revision of Amplitube. Like going from 2.0 to Hendrix.

Also, I heard it through the grape vine that we shall see a new Amplitube version sometime soon, which in Italien is translated to sometimes around the next 18 months.

Now you've done it!
We still haven't even seen the last two things announced (and WAY behind schedule) and now we're going to be stuck waiting for this for who knows how long... maybe another 2 years like when they announced AmpliTube 2...

So what are the details of this that you have heard? And is it a reliable source?
I remember Squids mentioning something about how X-Gear was originally planned to be incorporated into AmpliTube 2.5.
Is this what you're talking about, or do you know something else?

Is the topic going to be changed now to "AmpliTube 2.5 to be released sometime this decade!"?

Something else, and yes a reliable source, and no, not Squids :)

I can't say more or they will have to kill me

If they overhauled the engine for JHE, did they do the same for AT2 at any stage?
Intel Core i7 8700K, 16gb, Windows 10 Pro, Focusrite Scarlet 6i6

That's a risk I'm willing to take.
Now come on, out with it!

Not to the extent of my knowledge. Usually minor update do not modify the engine or sound, they are mostly bug fixes and minor features addition.
