Wow! I love this GUI too! VERRRRRY nice, Tek!Teksonik wrote:Well here's a quick and dirty paint job..........![]()
I chose orange because it fits the color scheme of the host I'm using and without it was kind of bland.....needed a splash of color. I tried to make each section look like a separate module and if I knew how I'd add tiny screws on the four corners of each module just for that retro hardware look.
I think Charlatan is a good honest analog synth and should retain that look and feel...a modern look just spoils the vibe in my opinion......
Again, beautiful work. Is there any chance of these being uploaded? I have no idea how to do this stuff myself, I'm completely lost where to even begin. Please upload!Teksonik wrote:I also did this edit for those who want no color at all....
Horribly bland but I could stare at it for hours with no eye fatigue......
Any chance to make dark grey (almost black) and darker orange? You know, in the Korg "black and orange" style.bailees7irish wrote:Wow! I love this GUI too! VERRRRRY nice, Tek!Teksonik wrote:Well here's a quick and dirty paint job..........![]()

Again my graphics abilities are pretty limited but I'll give it a shot. Don't know how dark I can make it without losing the text........fmr wrote:Any chance to make dark grey (almost black) and darker orange? You know, in the Korg "black and orange" style.

Teksonik wrote:Basically all I did was hit the colorize button in Paint Shop and added a few lines for dimension....that's about the extent of my graphic's abilities.![]()
Here's the grey background:

Agreed.mrperryx wrote:In that case developer should implement a HUE parameter for components and get rid of all this "skinning" stuff.
Apply HUE to background, label, button and lines and be done with random color schemes forever.

Looks good. Where can I download this?Teksonik wrote:Again my graphics abilities are pretty limited but I'll give it a shot. EDIT:
This about as dark as I could get it without losing detail......
Certainly someone with actual graphics skills, talents, and tools could do better...
