I chose orange because it fits the color scheme of the host I'm using and without it was kind of bland.....needed a splash of color. I tried to make each section look like a separate module and if I knew how I'd add tiny screws on the four corners of each module just for that retro hardware look.

I think Charlatan is a good honest analog synth and should retain that look and feel...a modern look just spoils the vibe in my opinion...... :)
Wow! I love this GUI too! VERRRRRY nice, Tek!

Horribly bland but I could stare at it for hours with no eye fatigue......
Again, beautiful work. Is there any chance of these being uploaded? I have no idea how to do this stuff myself, I'm completely lost where to even begin. Please upload! :hyper:

Any chance to make dark grey (almost black) and darker orange? You know, in the Korg "black and orange" style.

Basically all I did was hit the colorize button in Paint Shop and added a few lines for dimension....that's about the extent of my graphic's abilities. :hihi:

Here's the grey background:

Again my graphics abilities are pretty limited but I'll give it a shot. Don't know how dark I can make it without losing the text........ :)

EDIT:

This about as dark as I could get it without losing detail......

Certainly someone with actual graphics skills, talents, and tools could do better...

So far, Tekky's Gray&Orange is the best for me :)

Apply HUE to background, label, button and lines and be done with random color schemes forever.
Agreed.

There's one problem with only "hue" parameter... the colours would still be too strong, so a "saturation" parameter would also be needed. ;)

I was ignoring karrikuh's intentions.
I'm sorry... :(

Just two examples of skins i came up with. Always wanted a little depth in the official skin, and to change that red too. The glow effect just to add a little depth. Tested it yesterday, while working on arranging some presets created over time (to be posted in the next days), so after 2 hours working with the new skins the impression was good.

Its a kind of woody theme, 2 versions , though i prefer the first one the second is not bad, working in combination with both was cool, seeing charlatan change in the same project.

In full scale looks much warmer, the texture not very visible here, anyway...

This synth is such a gem. I'm thinking of bootcamping my mac just to run this.

Will there ever be a mac version?
