Last time I heard him say anything about that he said it would be a very reasonable paid upgrade. Nothing to panic about but It should be an impressive upgrade.

Maybe I'm wrong but I intended SynthMaster3 as a distinct product added to the SynthMaster line, not as an upgrade/update.

Last I heard was some months back and he stated that there would be an upgrade path from synth master 2. Things could have changed since then but that was stated a few months ago.

AFAIK the plan has always been up for an upgrade path for SM2 owners. I don't think this has changed.

Everything was fine after.

Did you have any non-default skin installed and set in v2.8.7 ? I guess that caused the error, and when you deleted the config file everything went back to normal.

I don't know if it's by design or what, But, I decided to see if the 160 skin in blue would work better and it won't let me load the 160 default blue skin for what ever reason. It just reverts to 140.

Default Blue 160 loads fine for me in Win7x64 on a 4K screen.

I *think* that kv331 stated somewhere upthread that it won't let you load a skin that's too large for your screen. No idea how it knows, or what the decision-making process is.

The Blue 160% is awesome on my main 1920x1200 screen. Inspired me to bust out the SynthMaster 2.8 User Manual again to revisit what all those little gadgets do, now that I can see them!

The 140% is quite usable too. Fits nicely on my 2nd screen which is 1600x900.

hm, so thats the solution. It's too big foir me, so 160% don't load. So it's a feature

I'm on 1920*1080 here and 140% is a nice fit. Gives a little room to toss stuff around still but big enough to not squint at.

The filter modules are a mess though here. filter one adn filter two interfere with each others behavior. It's random stuff too. I'm assuming others have reported this.
