I also notice that they always default to try to install on ..\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\Korg, even though I install all my plugs on ...\Program Files\VSTPlugins\Korg.
i wonder if the Software Pass isn't "seeing" them as installed because of this.

do you use a custom plugin path, or the default?
I think you are right. I also use a custom plugin path.
haven´t you seen my posting?

Nope, it was on the next page. But see my edit.

Hi BONES,
Do you install all of the plugins, including the new ones, to a custom VSTPlugins path?

ah, okay, understood :tu:

I seem to be having the same issues as The Sarge! My install path is the same "Program Files\VSTPlugins\Korg". Triton Extreme, and Mini Korg are installed and working but display the download button.
My only real issue, Legacy Cell is not working, it opens software pass, but software pass indicates it is installed.

The good news, Korg does seem to be working on updates?

I also use a custom path, and I also have problems with Korg Pass not knowing what's instaled. But I don't think having a custom path is the issue -- if it were, Korg Pass wouldn't know about any of the plug-ins being installed, not just the newer ones.

Actually, it doesn't. For the older ones it says I have to update and shows a previous version number. But I know they are up to date.

Then you have a slightly different problem than I do. Mine showed that Triton Extreme needed an update, and that Prophecy, miniKorg and MDE-X weren't even installed (they are). Everything else shows up correctly.

I've installed Prophecy, miniKorg and MDE-X through their standalone installers and through Korg Pass. It still doesn't register them. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling them with the latest version of Korg Pass installed, it still isn't right.

We may all be having slightly different problems with Korg Pass, but we all still seem to be having problems with it. It's never worked properly and I don't see how Korg let it out the way it has been -- and still is.

Frankly, if it weren't for this thread, I don't know how most of us would even know about the updates to the Korg stuff.

I don't believe we 'all' seem to be having problems with Korg Software Pass. Mine is working now. I know at one point, i was unable to see all the various instruments.. and I cannot recall what I did to get them to show up. It wasn't a support call that made things work though. It may have been registration. My Korg Software Pass shows three items above the PLUGINs on the lower screen. "Special Bundle Upgrade for Legacy Bundle". "KORG Collection - Special Bundle v2 Upgrade" and "Korg Collection 3 (UG2)" I had the original versions, did an upgrade to pick up Odyssey and then the last upgrade which added Tritons, etc.

Posting those - in the offchance that is why some folks are not seeing bits of their collection in Software Pass.. Registration.

nope, all registered here and still shows I must download miniKorg and Triton Extreme.

also, the updated Korg Software Pass mentions it fixed this problem, so it is known. It just isn't fixed for all the cases, apparently.

Post

got an answer from KORG-Support:
they apologize and investigate the cause of the problem and will fix it in an update

ok, let´s all wait and see

Korg Pass working fine here. I'm on Mac & Mojave.

According to the manual, they're officially supposed to be for different DAC emulations. According to many in this thread, they're unofficially for crashing Triton Extreme.
