They seem to roll the dice... actually they should priorityze people owning a serial for it already...

I dropped them a request... I am curious what they say... 8)

They pushed out a new update today, I wonder if that broke the existing cracked beta!
Unlikely, as there are a few very simple methods to block the automatic update like blocking a few Ableton exe´s with the firewall...

Because the beta has been leaked to the warez scene every crack kiddie can get their hands on the new version but people who paid for it like me are still outside of the beta access...

With the crack having appeared Ableton should have at least opened the door for everybody who has already paid for it for not having a disadvantage compared to the warez users...

I was honestely expecting and hoping this but nope... the beta is already out there since 2 weeks (actually 2 iterations already) and I sit here with my bought serial and have nothing... :x
Yeah it's been a month since they announced it. It's a bit frustrating. I have already gnawed off both my arms. I'll have to remove the Double part of my name soon.

Just checking you've actually applied for the Live 12 beta? Even if you've paid for 12 and have been on the 11 beta team you explicitly have to apply for each numbered beta programme:

This makes no sense Ableton. At least allow access to your loyal Live 12 customers and long time beta testers.

Am I the only one who is really excited by Live 12 but don't really want to participate in Beta. I have been finishing tracks recently and I feel new toys would probably get me way off track. I just wanna focus on making music for now and wait until release.
I make electronic music - DAW of choice : Live 12

No your not, I been beta tester on Live 10 & 11, tested for Waves Audio, AIR & NI and really cant be arsed to do anymore. Im content to wait til Live 12 is released.

I feel the same. Rushing to test the beta for what...
I rather wait for a finished product to test (it's never really finished, but you know what I mean).

I'm still producing well with v11 and I'am not interested to play with a beta to waste time because it's not a good idea to produce with a Beta. If it happens, just for fun it's OK.

The ones trying to test performance, it's not going to be a Night and Day difference for sure, better perhaps, but not enough to add 1000 instances of Diva :hihi:

The last thing I want on my production computer is a Beta. I don't care who has taken a crack at it! Final products are buggy enough without me having to worry about non "clean code". I pre-purchased 12. Looking forward to it when it is ready.

I'm just too impatient... :D

I would say this version 12 is really good, but I'm glad that there is https://enhancementsuite.me/ for mac too, especially considering that, no matter how much it scares, it doesn't crash under 14.1 OS or even under 12beta (at least this one https://github.com/kwvg/LESforMacOS/rel ... 3.4.beta.2 )

Why are you so glad??
I often looked at the LES but at the very end I didn´t find it so useful...

I don’t have a template for Live yet. I've added dunno how many utility devices to eight drum tracks and two returns, and I'm already starting to get bored with the browser. Also, I don't like the double-clicking or 'B' based piano roll (colorizing clips also boring)

saving project versions with different postfixes also can be a lifesaver, especially under Live + beta combo

ps. plus, this isn't code embedded in an M4L device, so it can't crash the whole app
