You must download and install the latest factory library in your account (yes, the 4 gigs file) with R4 in the name. Granular presets are spread in the factory categories, just use the search function and filter the new inserted granular category.

Those clicks are not CPU-related, I have often encountered those clicks in sample-based patches, it seems to be an erratic problem and only the devs will know what exactly the cause is. In the version before 1.2.0 the clicking issue was fixed, I'll check it out when I'm back in the studio next week.

Yes, upon further investigation, it seems to occur with sample-based patches - only on the Note On from the sequencer and not, interestingly enough, when I play it on my MIDI controller. Thanks for validating you know about this - thought I was going crazy. Tried everything else to mitigate - adjusting ASIO guard settings in C9, buffer size adjustments, different velocities on the note, prayers to Almighty Vishnu and his lil' dark poodle of doom...nothing. Hopefully they can fix this one quickly.

Do you use any delay (as send or insert FX) on the sample based patches? I also have those clicks but when turning off the delay the clicks are gone. Maybe this could narrow it down.

Can someone explain in detail on how to update avenger ? Do I download the application again and install over top ? Also how to update content file after downloading?

If you already have VPS Avenger installed and registered, this is how to update the Avenger software and content on Windows. I don't use Apple OSX, but the steps are probably similar.

1. Log in to your VPS account at https://register.vps-avenger.com/
2. Do not enter your activation code. Your software is already registered.

You will see VPS AVENGER listed under "Your Products".

3. Click WIN to download the Windows installer.
4. Click CONTENT to download the latest content.
5. Run the downloaded installer to update the Avenger software.
6. Start Avenger in your DAW.
7. Go to the SYS tab and select the CONTENT page.
8. Click IMPORT CONTENT, browse to your downloaded content file, and import it.

That's it.

because you have "LOOP" mode on. This means, end and start is seamless and blend together. Turn "loop" off of have a hard cut at the end

how long is the sale again of the XP? i still think about getting the granular XP even it didnt convince me as the audio demo, but maybe with my own samples + stretches it should be cool

I bought the Granular XP, and you can believe me, with only a few editing on several controls you can quickly obtain something completely different, crazy, eerie, hovering, experimental, shoegazy... It's really deep and awesome.

I was too silly (again)... yes you are right... because on the website only the Content button was flashing I didn´t got the idea to look at the plugin...

Still investigating here. Here's a sample of what I'm hearing - just rendered this out of Cubase 9 today.

This pop occurs precisely on the Note On signal received from host (had quarter notes triggering the arp, but occurs on any note length) and doesn't seem to occur when I play the MIDI controller. Seems to occur whether ARP is on or off, but not always consistently. Thus far, ASIO Guard settings have no effect. Changing buffer has no effect. This only seems to occur on Vengeance VST - I've double checked this against Diva, Hive, Reactor, Absynth, Serum, Spire, Dune, Retrologue and everything else and verified it's not occurring on the host end.

I've verified this is occurring not just with samples but also the regular waveforms in the OSC. This is using AR Blade Attacks, with the filters dialed down to hear it a bit better. On scope, the pop/click is occurring consistently above 5khz range and, on louder pops, extends well into 20khz.

Delay on patch is off, filter is turned down, amp sustain is all the way down. 6ms microfade on OSC.

this is a false positive. Seems like if you are creating many downloads in a short period of time, you automatically are malware then... nice idea Chrome!
