Probably will, if history repeats......DHR53 wrote:Please kill this thread...
In fact, there will never be a public beta and there is no bitwig that we know of. So, it's a sad state of affairs........

We all should all be prepared for a long successive line of eating crow graphics when Bitwig releases.
They (those who are annoyed by the cats) will probably want revenge.

I willl be very disspinted if bitwig doesn't include a cat theme, cat sound presets and a demo song inspired by this topic.

I can't imagine Bitwig having anything to do with KVR, inspired by this and other similar topics.rod_zero wrote:I willl be very disspinted if bitwig doesn't include a cat theme, cat sound presets and a demo song inspired by this topic.

I can't imagine Bitwig risking to lose a single potential customer, for what I've heard.AmyTree wrote:I can't imagine Bitwig having anything to do with KVR, inspired by this and other similar topics.rod_zero wrote:I willl be very disspinted if bitwig doesn't include a cat theme, cat sound presets and a demo song inspired by this topic.

t3tooo nails it. This is exactly what I've been feeling, but didn't have the skillful eloquence to express clearly.Here, I am merely trying to advance the opinion that many innocent people are being manipulated into making today's oppressiveness look like grade-school work compared to what it has planned for the future by the most sickening display of Pecksniffian cant that I have ever witnessed in my entire life.

Agreed. I suspect likely why they have had limited communication on board.. they posted early on where they showed some distaste for the amalgamation of jokes here.. and since then all quiet.AmyTree wrote:I can't imagine Bitwig having anything to do with KVR, inspired by this and other similar topics.rod_zero wrote:I willl be very disspinted if bitwig doesn't include a cat theme, cat sound presets and a demo song inspired by this topic.

Sad when we tend to steer developers away with our impatience and seemingly harmless jokes (at their expense).
Hopefully they'll come back when they have a release and the waters are calmer here..

We've all kept the bitwig conversation alive. That's free publicity and they'd be foolish if they didn't recognize that. This is one of the hardest things to create especially when the public announcements, photos, videos and general conversation are absently available.
Look at Ohmstudio. Where's the cats? Where's the constant conversation about what it's been able to become through out it's development? The fact that they've had a beta out is not a reason to not have a discussion, especially when Ohm studio is the only DAW with a unique approach by focusing on collaboration, while with Bitwig... let's face it... We're all just hoping for a better version of Live.
Cats = free publicity.
Once Bitwig is released, the cats will turn into an honest interest in an available product that has stayed in constant view of those interested in purchasing.
Nothing sad here.

I wonder if the development team at Bitwig visit this thread on a regular basis to keep them entertained, and how long are they spending reading stuff on this thread
Oh.. Could that be one reason they are taking so long beta testing it ?
