Hi Andy, I emailed you support AT cytomic, some valuable info re: this. Please look out for it and check your spam if you don't see it.andy-cytomic wrote:It may just be a matter of the plugin name not being correct for the VST version - and Cubase is the only one being picky about that. I've got a new build ready for release next week, and I've spent days downloading different DAWs like Cubase so I can test with them properly, so next week is looking good for a fix for you.zvenx wrote:Hi Andy, any progress on the systems (like mine, Cubase 9 in Sierra) where the DAW isn't seeing the plugin?

In a nutshell it shows up as TS808 in Cubase on Sierra.
@woodsdenis, what does it show up as in your Cubase?
thanks

Yep, this is fixed now, I forgot to update a field in the build settings so it accidentally left the name of the make vst plugin as my internal name StompTS808. New build on the way, including AAX support, but I'm just checking a little deeper into a few other bugs that have been reported.zvenx wrote:Hi Andy, I emailed you support AT cytomic, some valuable info re: this. News update: The Scream Beta v1.0.4 is released! I'll get back to everyone that filed a bug report tomorrow in person, but everyone that was having issues please give this new version a go and see if it helps.
- AAX version
- Properly named VST version on Mac, was StompTS808, now The Scream
- warmup code called every change in mods to aid de-clicking
- added mouse over and value change numeric readouts
- statically linked c-runtime on Win, so hopefully people having issues will be all good now if they were missing the c-runtime before

Andy, on mac the installer isn't working properly.
It is only installing the AAX version, the AU and VST versions are not being installed (at least on my system(10.12.4))
edit: It is installing but in the wrong place.. it is installing on the top level of the folder/subfolder hierarchy of the mac OS.
by that I mean vst's normally go:
HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
it is installing both VST and AU on HD.

Woops, let me fix that! I switched to using the installer script with the AAX version but it seems there is something else to add to get it working properly with The Scream.

Awesome!zvenx wrote:or completeness.
All is well now in Cubase/Mac land with me.

That just leaves checking into Windows 32-bit VST problems and copying the mods as well as the knob positions with the Copy A->B command and it's all good for taking this out of Beta.
