The plugin opens up for me more and more each time I program it, a bit like Blue II in that way. It is an amazingly eclectic tool. If you don't have it and can get it for under 200, scoop it up like there's no tomorrow.

Maybe that's what pissing off most of us... We have been waiting years for Alchemy 2... With all the promised new features.... And BAM!!!

Edit... One of the most anticipated feature is/was the ability to tie any sound to any setting from another patch..
At least i can do this with Omnisphere 2 now. I much prefer it today over Alchemy even when it still lacks a lot things i can do in the good old Alchemy 1.55. However, Omnisphere will evolve while Alchemy is a dead end. So yes, it's time to move on. I only want to see now what the next Logic X update will bring to the table. Will it be a free update with a full Alchemy 2 engine? An instrument combined with Sculpture, ESX24 and Alchemy 2 (plus redmatica tech) would be a dream and worth to buy Logic just for this (indeed it's still yet one of the best bang for the bucks in the virtual music world).

Odd, doesn't look like the Camel Audio Installer works offline... Keeps asking me to login.

Guess I won't be able to reinstall Camel Phat if I reinstall my OS and no Camel Audio here for support

Just install it using its own installer - you don't need the Camel installer app at all (or you can just unpack the archive and instal it manually actually)

Numanoid, I apologize for being so dense, but what does this mean?
Ha ha suck it!

It means that nobody can take over the camelaudio.com domain until March 2019.

Often when a dev disappears the domain is taken over by others using it to post ads.

It would have been easy making quick bucks while users still remember the brand name Camel Audio

Ahah :D !

Didn't realize CamelSounds were just simple archive files.

Thank you good sir :tu:

Anyone know where the right location is to drop the "Camel Audio" folder in the extracted application support folder so the plugins see it by default on Windows?

Yeah they are just rars. According to their faq you can also switch the Camel installer into offline mode anyway.

O.K. Alchemy R.I.P. ; )
This was mainly made with the mighty Alchemy synth. I really love the Steamworx patch bank. Maybe the best patch bank ever made for me. Water and Dream Voices are also standing out for me. I really will miss those interesting patch banks. I have them all and they are all good or very good in my opinion. Maybe we will see new ones for the Alchemy Logic plug-in in the future. Just bad for windows users.
Cheers
