suggestion:

I'd love to be able to set a *different skin* for the VST versions vs. the standalone. That way, when I place eXT as a VST within eXT standalone, it's *really* easy to discern the difference.

What'cha think?

Have a look at this thread...a few users already figured out how to manage that. It would be a cool option.

Renaming of ghosted parts
If I change notes or the colour of a part the ghosts follow. But that's not the case when I rename one ghost. I need that!

Piano roll in midi-parts
If I double-click a part in a midi track I get all the features to manipulate the data - but it's hard to find the position where the played notes reside. A piano roll would fix that

Folders and hide/show switch for tracks in the sequencer comp...i think this can be useful for the
envelope's tracks....sometimes i go to have hundreds

Selecting CC Events in CC Views
The new adjustable views in the MIDI Parts are great and really handy.

What I would also like to see is:

I wish for,
The ability to split audio files in the main Sequencer window and move the pieces around the same as midi tracks.
The part edit windows to display song position in bars as well as beats in the part.
That the Audio Part file start and end positions were set with a control key and click so that they do not move when attempting to draw an envelope peak on a file.

Dear Jorgen
Is it possible to make adding vst/vsti's in a way it is done in AudioMulch?
Ie, "insert after", "insert before", "replace", "substitute" the current module in the add menu?
It will be very helpful IMHO

anyone request a Panic button in the main window and the sequencer window?

I seem to have a frequent problem with stuck notes which often happens when i'm switching between patches on an instrument.

Last night I had a stuck note I couldn't unstick. Tried restarting ext but the stuck note carried over even with Ext shut down and I had to reboot the machine.

An all notes of type panic button would come in handy for me.

A display which shows the elapsed song time (sequencer comp and main mixer) and an info box with the current mouse pointer position (sequencer comp) would be useful.

there already is support for folder tracks in sequencer...Track -> Add -> Folder, then right-click a track and select 'Move to...'

A confirmation in "save as" stuff (render to .wav, export midi), something like
"File my_lifes_work already exists. Overwrite it?"

Mistakes are easier to make than to unmake.
Not that I've made mistakes with it of course... yet : )
