It's going to be awesome. I downloaded your B2 presers from Patchpool, amazing stuff in there (just like your Aether presets)!

I'm having problems entering the serial after installation of 64 Bit AU in Logic - I can't remove the "xxxxxx" code from the Ser No field and I can't re-enter the code either, so I'm stuck....

It's probably the same issue that happened after the Aether update - ID mismatch, so something is wrong with the auth.prop file...Sampleconstruct wrote:I'm having problems entering the serial after installation of 64 Bit AU in Logic - I can't remove the "xxxxxx" code from the Ser No field and I can't re-enter the code either, so I'm stuck....
EDIT: After setting permissions to "read&write" to "everyone" instead of only myself for the main "B2" folder in Application support I could re-enter the serial and it now works. Strange...

I had a few difficulties with my process as well.Sampleconstruct wrote:It's probably the same issue that happened after the Aether update - ID mismatch, so something is wrong with the auth.prop file...Sampleconstruct wrote:I'm having problems entering the serial after installation of 64 Bit AU in Logic - I can't remove the "xxxxxx" code from the Ser No field and I can't re-enter the code either, so I'm stuck....

On the Website when trying to "buy" the update using the code, I could not understand why I was stuck on the second step of the process after applying the rebate code, but found out that I had to check the box next to the earned points from previous purchases. I had $20 from my B2 purchase, but thinking I didn't need to check anything here I wrongly left it unchecked. This needs to be checked.
On the authorization I was also having difficulty, Called up my original invoice from when I bought B2, then pressing the Gui enter button, manually inputting the code, not copy paste. The xxxx code in the panes turns into an input field after double clicking, no need to delete the xxxx, just start to type. pressing "return" on completion of each 4-6 digit step of the series.
Then after completion I more times than I'd care to admit tried pressing the Gui enter button it does nothing so don't press it . I then tried keeping all the letters uppercase, finally I understood that the inputted serial numbers get accepted a few moments after pressing the enter key for the last time. Once accepted, B2 is authorized and ready to take off!
User preset organization:
Create new folders in application support/2C-Audio/B2/Presets/Full for greater control over your prest organization. The User folder can't contain subfolders (thanks Simon)
B2 1.1.0 works in Numerology Pro 3 (32 bit). OSX 10.7.5

Don't create Subfolders within the User folder, just add a folder to the Preets/Full - folder, that will show in the Browser.

Try this, if you haven't done so before...Sampleconstruct wrote:I'm having problems entering the serial after installation of 64 Bit AU in Logic - I can't remove the "xxxxxx" code from the Ser No field and I can't re-enter the code either, so I'm stuck....
You have to do exactly as I have described... for it to work every time I found.
Double left click on the first field... Enter the first part of the code for the first field and then press return/enter.
Now double left click on the second field.. enter the second part of the code in the second field and press return/enter
and so on.....
This seems to work nicely (at least it did for me..)

Bug report for B2 64bit AU plugin and Logic 9.1.8/10.8.2
Twice now the plugin did not work correctly.. (This is out of probably 30 times I have used it so far)
When I first open the plugin the default reverb works/sounds fine but as soon as I select a new preset, I get very brief distorted sound like a loud'ish click... and that's it. Each preset I selected after that, generated the same brief distorted click.
Removing the plugin and reloading it.. fixed this in both cases...
Update: I have now had this happen several times and I think i can reproduce it fairly easily (about 5 times out of 10)
It seems to only happen when you add B2 when the track is already playing... I tried both as an Insert and as an Aux and while it seemed to happen more when using it in an Aux, it did also happen on occasion when adding B2 as an Insert...
You have to stop the track playing and then add it.. to prevent this from occurring... and not simply removing and adding it back in as i said earlier.
Hope this helps...

Yes... SS is to blame (partially at least) for my purchase of B2 too... Once I heard a couple of his clips I knew I had to get the CC out and buy.... I was thinking hard about it beforehand but he pushed me over the edge!33tetragammon wrote:Well, i just bought B2. Couldn't resist any longer.....

Well, it's nice to see and hear that all these audio experiments and clips get heard and seem to spread the word about B2...and it's good that blaming the german SS can nowadays be done in a non-political context again - LOLn6smith wrote:Yes... Is this the place to report 1.1.0 bugs or the 2C site?
I'm not able to save modified presets with a new name to the user bank.
