Disclaimer: I don't know for sure.

But put it this way - all signs point to yes, and I know the signs well, having been involved with other people to whom this has happened (can't say more details, of course.)

Also - Alchemy was integrated into Logic fairly quickly, and let's say I think it's unlikely they did that without Ben being directly involved.

Apple buyouts usually result in the developers going off the grid, as Apples policies require, exactly what has happened with the Camel crew as well. Like I say, the signs are very recognisable.

Here are two LinkedIn profiles from former Camel Audio developers who now work for Apple:

Yeah, and all my speculation and likely guesses based on the info we had in the massive Camel thread from when the sh*t dropped in the first place turned out to be... oh, yes - all correct.

Maybe I have, you know, a clue about how these things work, and connections that, you know, I can't talk about.

Make of it what you will, makes no difference to me...

on windows i can use Alchemy 10 years later, it will stay compatible. On OSX i am not sur how long, if you don't use Logic. On IOS you can now forget all your expansions, you can't download them again on your new phone or pad. BTW NI informed their users that their plugins and some hardware wouldn't work on next osx until they have solved it with apple, so why should I change to a system where a lot of plugins are incompatible with next osx update. I feel bether to windows computer, i can build on my own with double power for half the price. I can work with alchemy how it is and will not buy so many synths in future because many companys abandon their synths, stop suporting a product or get out of business. So I think apple can't convince windows users to switch to apple if they takeover some technology, it was only a daw and a good synth, but here is so many left.

It passes validation, loads sounds and seems fine, albeit I only gave it a cursory once-over in Logic Pro X.

FUD. Alchemy 1.5.x is still working on OS X 10.11 here and I just loaded Alchemy Mobile and all my sound banks onto my brand new iPhone 6S (using iMazing and iTunes file transfer).

With iMazing I selected my device, then browsed its Apps, then dragged Alchemy onto the window from the Finder. Good luck! And apologies for the FUD comment- I didn't realize you had tried it, I thought you were making a baseless prediction.

I'm really hoping somebody can help me here but long story short I was just able to install Alchemy via the offline installer and for some reason it won't install the Alchemy.dll file? Everything else gets installed. Please help.
