Nobody's out yet and there may not be any reason to cut anyone out. I don't see any reason to automatically ditch your entry!

So for now just assume you're in, like the rest of us. :)

I don´t know if it is mentioned already, but publicity is most important if you want to sell something.
What about Future Music and Computer Music. I think a few lines about this project in these magazines won´t hurt them too much.
I know they´ve got ears and eyes over here, so I say to that ear : "I´ve spend so much money on bying your magazines, that it seems I could have bought the hole company for that amount :hihi: . So get on, take your mobile and ring your redaction to spread the news !"

BTW I´m finishing a song, keeping it short (some 2 min) to spare space... .. .

Oeps, the "w" of "whole" didn´t get throught :hihi: , I meant "whole company" and of course not "hole company" !

thanks kovacs, that's a relief. :-)
btw, my albums are being sold by CDbaby and i do not have any problems with them. they are fine. i would suggest that distribution by cdbaby is fine.

also, the idea about Future Music and other magazines is great. it won't cost them anything to write a short line.
after all, we all have bought their magazine for many years...
best regards, :-)

ok, i want to make an announcement of the cd in the various synth users yahoo groups.
please, tell me what to write.
should i just copy/paste the text of the katrina cd website?
also, another comment: the phrase in the katrina cd website" if the cd won't be released......there are no refunds" does not look very good for most potential buyers. maybe change it and say that the cd will be released for sure?(telling the truth of course, i do not mean to lie.)
best regards, :-)

"Thank you"s from me to Emdot, Xander and Koolkeys for helping me out today. Koolkeys, it was nice to meet you.

Not a prob. Always nice to put faces with names.

Also, bakis, how much does CDBAby take from each CD? Cause that will be on top of what it costs to make the CD. If we did have another way, then we could save that money and put more towards charity. However, it may be worth the convenience.

hello kk,
i do not really know how much cdbaby take from each cd. shima records(the label i am signed) arranges all that.
but i guess that this info is in the cdbaby website, right?

best regards, :-)

AFAIR both those mags (certainly CM did) gave the resonance project some space so would probably do so for us ...

... having said that ... as 'press officer' for resonance i sent out about 40 emails to various other UK newspapers and magazines with ZERO response ...

... we need a marketing guy (i know there ARE some who are KVR members but i forget right now who they are) ...

I'll check into the mags, and yes we do need a marketing team.

How about kvr Rob? Can you make that happen?
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

I agree, it doesn't look good and I see no reason why this project would fail.
