It's the same Analog Delay that's been there in v4, just re-skinned like most of the plugins.chk071 wrote: Wed Aug 26, 2020 10:51 amTBH, I've only downloaded the demo version to check out the new Analog Delay. It's not bad, but, since I own Replika XT, no other delay really did it for me. Apart from that, there's really nothing in v5 which really would make me want to upgrade, especially for the asked price... Not in a rush to do anything at all. Maybe I even ship the next few versions, if there's nothing substantial I need.THE INTRANCER wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:04 amWhat's the benefits over Studio One 4.6 Professional.. Ok, the new plugin GUI's are quite fancy, but, apart from that...

Hmm... I thought it was different. It doesn't seem to dampen the dry signal that much, if you dial in some wet, and it seems to sound a bit different as well, apart from the additional features. But, I don't know for sure.
Anyway, just like others, it's nothing compared to Replika XT, so, no time to dwell on it that much, I guess.

But presumably it's not its purpose? I didn't know Replika XT, so I searched for it and did a quick read on NI's page. Yes of course - that is a jack of all trades. And much much more than a plain "Analog Delay". But there's also "Beat Delay" and "Groove Delay". So Presonus has covered pretty much most delay needs, but not in a single device.chk071 wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:37 am Anyway, just like others, it's nothing compared to Replika XT, so, no time to dwell on it that much, I guess.![]()

Yeah, but, frankly, they all sound worse to me than Replika XT, otherwise I would use them, and wouldn't feel the need to go third party.
I'm also a fan of all in one, if possible. No need for 3 different plugins then.

It is different, some of the plugins have been completely re-done. If they say "State Space" on them now, that means they were re-coded as opposed to re-skinned.chk071 wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:37 am Hmm... I thought it was different. I tried the new analog delay and unfortunately it does not sound as good at looks. I'd stick to my various commerical delays over the Presonus one which just sounds bad IMO.

Does anyone else use Halion 6 in SO5?
The gui just turns into a blurred mess the you try scrolling up and down, it's totally unusable.
It works as expected in Nuendo, Reaper and Live's latest versions, on mac catalina...

Actually it sounds good in the right hands.
I tried it with Softube Modular and it does its job very well.

I have exactly the same UI problem in Halion 6 and Studio One Pro 5 on Catalina. But it only seems to be a problem in Studio One. In Cubase 10.5 and Logic, Halion 6 does work without problems on my mac.

Hope Presonus fix it soon.
