I do wonder where (who) the inspiration came from to make the “punishing” changes to the license management to begin with. Surely, it should have been predictable just how unpopular that kind of plan would be.

I’m guessing users requested to be able to use their license on multiple systems.

Mario's software is loved by quite a few people that I know, as well as myself. He offers incredible creativity and flexibility with his plug-ins. They're very inspiring tools to use. Every developer has to deal with protecting their product, and on terms that align with their wider business model.

This was an unfortunate decision, but I'm not about to start bashing him for a mistake that he clearly regrets and has reversed. That proves to me that he genuinely cares about his user base and their opinions. And I commend him for listening to his customer's feedback, which he has done from the very start.

I suggest that we forgive the misstep, and get on with making our music, because we all make mistakes along the way. This is just a temporary bump in the road, and another learning experience. He handled it in a professional manner, and he still has my full support moving forward!!

Hey guys, I messed up with the new licensing system, the truth is I screwed this up and I don’t know how I didn’t see it earlier. But everything has now been fixed and the new installers are ready to download. There's no longer an offline limitation. So everything works as before, with the added benefit that you can now manage your account's licenses on www.marionietoworld.com or from the plugin. I’ll send an email to explain what happened.

I hope the new licensing - system will still have the same desired effect as expected. It might also have been timing, as quite a few (more) will put their machine offline in due to the coming EOL of Windows 10.

This is definitely a factor for me. ^^^

Mario’s email explains the intent of the original change and why it was necessary. Now that he has removed the 30 day limit, it’s clear that we now have a better system than previously. Thank you, Mario!

Has he implemented the ability to have it play notes in random order? I haven't checked since it came out. I guess I can go do that now.

Hi all, I just picked this up yesterday so I'm a complete noob

I've scanned this thread, the manual and the FAQs on Mario Nieto World, and I can't figure out how to set up a new presets folder. I'd like to be able keep my 'stumbling-my-way-around' presets separate so it'll be easy to ditch them later. I did see a post from Mario on this thread where he announced that he'd introduced this functionality so I presume it's possible...Has anyone here figured it out?

I can't manage my licenses.

I cannot access my automatically created account.
I cannot get a password reset mail sent to my email address.
When trying to create a new account with my email address it tells me that such an account already exists.
All attempts to reach Mario through diverse channels (contact form on his website, direct emails, PM here on KVRaudio) so far have been unsuccessful

Does anyone know how I could reach Mario?
