...Opsix will arrive on Wednesday. From what people describe I’m guessing it’s barely better than the Roland Boutique keyboards, except for being full sized. I mean I can make it so what I need on those, but it’s not ideal.

I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on it. I was so close to pulling the trigger during that sale, but finally summoned the conviction to stick with my original plan of getting a Digitone... then ended up buying a Syntakt

I almost pulled the trigger after seeing them in stock, but I’ve barely touched Opsix since getting the monitors setup.

How are you liking them? Are you doing a East Beasts vs West Pests thing or keeping the East/West separate?

so far ive just been listening to what i can get out of the pests, but im sure there will be much cross patching in future.
if nothing else, the pests have square and triangle lfo outputs, same dual speed type but different shapes.

it's got a nice "oomph" in the low end that the beast doesn't have not more bassy, just it slaps you a bit harder

I've found a spot for the Beast & Pest ... the Oxygen 88 is leaning against some shelves at the moment. It's too big for my A-Frame. Gonna need a bigger stand.

aye, 2 pests and a beast.
didn't have much in the way of wavefolding, and a wavefolder module alone would have been half the price, but with the extra bits you get here, seemed more like a bargain

they are great little machines, definitely worth grabbing one
