No. It doesn't really concern you anyway. Move on with the thread. I will deal with the issue in private.VitaminD wrote: Don't you think you're taking this a weeeee bit (read: entirely) too seriously? Good gravy..

Well, it does actually, since you announced publicly that you are seeking a refund due to the attitude of personnel, I'll just go ahead and say publicly state that we do not issue refunds for reasons such as that. I apologize if you think my response was demeaning in any way, as it was not intended as such.SAW75 wrote:No. It doesn't really concern you anyway.VitaminD wrote: Don't you think you're taking this a weeeee bit (read: entirely) too seriously? Fine then. I hope I can avoid an aneurysm with your advice. Since a brain tumor didn't kill me, I'm not all that worried.DNR Collaborative wrote:Well, it does actually, since you announced publicly that you are seeking a refund due to the attitude of personnel, I'll just go ahead and say publicly state that we do not issue refunds for reasons such as that. My deepest apologies for simply misunderstanding a joke that was rather lame.

See, the thing is Steven, FL has always been getting a bad wrap (mainly because it doesn't cost a billion dollars, and has fun things [which I don't really care for] in there as well, not only dryballs music geek stuff), so your attempt at humor, without knowing the "scene", touched a sore point.
Fact of matter is, no matter what your personal thought is of a DAW (I know, you did say it was a joke), you should NEVER... EVER... put any DAW down when you have your DNR C hat on, cause they host your VSTs. This also of course goes for a possible humorous attempt. It's murky water best left undisturbed. People seem to be very precious about their DAWs, and even though it's purely just a tool (I couldn't care less
) rather play it safe

It's what hibidy posts in threads that get a bit too heavy. Usually the thread ends up locked though, so you probably don't want that. You probably want your company's marketing thread to go on for another 39 pages in a section of the forum that used to be reserved for individual musicians to sell and trade their gear in peace.DNR Collaborative wrote:No, but they may be warranted at this pointhibidy wrote:Did I already kill you guys with fluffy cat pics?
DShould I ask what a fluffy cat pic is, or should I assume it's actually a picture of a fluffy cat?

KVR used to be so cool. Now it's like a late night infomercial.

Ftr it was a joke. I use FL Studio and it's a great host. FL Chan bopping away in the corner always helps me get my groove on.

Speaking of aneurisms, I bet if we could get IK to post a tease about one of their products in this thread right now, I think we could cause one.hibidy wrote:fixed!SAW75 wrote: KVR used to be so cool. Now it's like uber cool!
