Oh wow, Andy with just the MS20 alone this is a monster of a plugin. So much beautiful sound variation. The envelopes can go from the snappiest thwack to flabby flumpf (try turning the low pass right down, the envelope mod right up and then put tiny amounts of just attack or decay - tiiiight!1). I love the drive qualities in the mixer (turn the input down and the output right up) and the spacing parameter sounds amazing when the output is then fed into a stereo verb. I am almost afraid of when all the other filter types arrive as the range of choice will be just overwhelming.
As it is I am losing way to much time to this plugin.. must control my filtering urges :help:

Why do I suspect this is going to end up like a muso version of that experiment where the rats had their pleasure centres wired up to a button and they pressed it until they starved? :hihi:

Sooo true. :hihi: I literally 'forget' to eat, too frequently, when there are "toys" within reach.

(I "suspect" it is an OCD kinda thing)

It shows really some brilliant programming. I am the happy owner of several analog filters (from noisy ones ie Sherman to the smoothest MOTM ones), and I am, honnestly impressed by The Drop. Will definitively get the definitive version.

Since I can't play with it yet, let me just say that I've grown to love the little Cytomic speaker mascot logo guy. Even after a thousand refreshes, he still manages to make me smile. You ought to consider putting out t-shirts, or maybe even little figurines - I'd buy one straight away. :)

So how much will it cost?
(Strangely when I search for "price & the Drop" all I get is market place threads  )

Truth be told, I'm finding it somewhat comforting to know there are sooo many other filter whores, salivating over this.

"Enthusiasm" for an objective potential, is always welcome.
